Owen's POV:

Adrianna's soft smile as she tarted eating almost broke my heart. There is a lot more behind the put together demeanour that she gives off. When Ness offered to take Hana so she could eat, Adrianna looked almost surprised at the notion, which hurt me for some reason. I don't know why she was so shocked, but she also seemed happy when she was free to eat.

Her entire interaction with her siblings mimics how my mother acted when we were a lot younger, but Adrianna doesn't have the help of a partner or parents to make sure she doesn't overwork herself. The moment her siblings entered the house she was on high alert. I mean, I could practically feel the annoyance and worry radiating off of her when Michael said they hadn't eaten yet. She's only 19 but she feels a lot older. Something tells me she had to grow up a lot faster than she would've liked to.

She has my family and I now, she's not alone anymore and eventually I'll make sure she is 100% aware of that. My brothers are going to fawn over her, they've always wanted another sister and so has Ness. Alex, Ness and my mom love babies too, so she wont have to worry about Hana anymore, the same goes for the two girls.

As soon as my mother sees them, I have a feeling Adrianna is going to have a lot more time to herself than she knows what to do with.

The official 'Meeting of the Family' meal is today, in which the Volkov's will officially be introduced to all of the Kim Family and visa-versa. The past week has been quite interesting to say the least. The school week started so my siblings were unable to come down, but Owen's siblings came down quite often, they were here basically every day, much to the youngest Volkov's displeasure. It was fun to watch their interactions, they were so carefree and all of them seemed to swear a lot. Owen has had to be translating for me a lot since Alexander seems to habitually speak only Russian and forget I can't understand it.

Owen and I have also gotten slightly closer over the past week. Since we've both been working from our home offices, we've had more opportunities to be around each other and interact. He had to take the initiative most of the time since I couldn't find the confidence in myself to casually spark up a conversation with him, but so far, it's been going really well.
