Saturday
A week has gone by, Seokjin and Yoongi have been working together to look after Jeongguk the best they could without alerting the other housemates about his new class rank. Jeongguk was also loving the attention he was getting from the two, lapping it up whenever he was feeling little.
However, since the others hadn't known about Jeongguk's situation, Jimin had been excited about going to another little party with Seokjin. So the eldest still had to go, even though he was already looking after Jeongguk.
He didn't exactly have high hopes of liking anyone there anyways, but he wanted to go to keep Jimin company and so he could mingle with the caregivers that he has befriended.
"Jinnie, are you ready?" Jimin called throughout the house as he raced down the stairs by the front door.
Seokjin had been sitting on the lounge waiting for him, so he had been able to see the younger caregiver as he skipped multiple steps down the staircase. He just hummed in return as he stood from the couch he was sat on.
"Let's get going then! the party started an hour ago, so there will be plenty of people there now" Jimin quickly just pulled his shoes on by the front door as he looked over at the older housemate.
They usually did arrive a little while after the parties start, because thats when most people would be there.
"I have a really good feeling about tonight, Jinnie. I think you'll find that special little to care for" Jimin bumps his shoulder lightly against Seokjin's arm as they walked out to the car together.
Seokjin smiles at him, but inside he knows he won't. His special little was back in the house cuddling with Yoongi. He was getting plenty of cuddles from Yoongi due to the little crying over Seokjin leaving for the night.
During the car ride, Jimin had noticed that Seokjin had been a bit quiet. "Jinnie, are you okay?" he questions, putting his phone in his lap so he could focus a bit more on the older male. Seokjin nodded his head, "Yeah, I'm just not feeling very confident for tonight" he lied, he was just worried about leaving the little at home.
"Tonight will be the last night i go to one of these parties. I should put my focus else where since i haven't found anyone yet" This time it wasn't exactly a lie, he had promised himself that it would be the last party he would attend.
"I can respect that, Jin. I think it is reasonable" Jimin smiled over at him, even though he was focusing on the road. "Why don't you get a job working in a Centre, like Hobi and I? It's still fulfilling to care for them during the day" Jimin suggests but Seokjin shook his head.
He had tried that before and it didn't quite do it for him. He prefers having one to care for all the time. Having multiple to care for just during the day had hurt him when he had to eventually leave for the day.
Soon after they were pulling into the car park to the familiar building.
Jimin and Seokjin got out of the car together before Jimin had wrapped his arm around Seokjin's as they walk towards the entrance to the building.
Seokjin sighed as they entered into the packed party hall. He doesn't find anyone of interest at first glance, not that he minds.
"I'm going to go get a drink" Seokjin says as he nods his head in the direction of the drinks table. "All good, i see someone from work, so i'm going to go catch up with him" Jimin replies with a smile.
Seokjin smiles and waits for Jimin to walk off first before he makes his way over to the drink table.
He pulled his phone out, typing out a message to go to Yoongi, asking how Jeongguk is feeling now.
With a drink in one hand and his phone in the other, he stares down at the screen as he waits with a small frown for Yoongi's reply.
Before he got one, someone had cleared their throat, causing Seokjin's attention to go elsewhere.
"Hey, you're close with bun?" the woman questions, reaching the table right next to Seokjin and pouring two cups of drink.
The male frowns, he doesn't know what she means by bun, but he does remember her as the caregiver that had her hand on Koo's head at his work.
"We don't call him that, but yes, I'm caring for him now" Seokjin felt his phone vibrate in his hand but he ignores it.
"That's good" The woman smiles, a little soon stepping out from behind her and gripping onto her arm.
"He's in my classes" she continues on to say, "I realised only recently but we've been sitting next to each other since the start of the year" she pats her own little on the head gently.
"My name is Ara" she then looks to Seokjin with the same smile still on her face. Seokjin frowns a little "Seokjin" he replies back.
"Just so you know but he is my little now. My housemate and I care for him" Seokjin crosses his arms protectively, he just couldn't get the image of this girl patting Jeongguk's head out of his mind.
She giggles and nods her head, "That's perfectly fine. I've got my little and i couldn't be more happier" she answers, she can understand the caregiver instincts herself.
"I just help him out with the classes when he's feeling little and can't concentrate" she reaches over this time to grab something to snack on from the table next to them.
"However, I would love for Bun to come over for a playdate, so can i give my number to you and we can organise it?" she questions, her little next to her seemingly getting a little excited at the word playdate.
Seokjin sighed softly to himself and looked to the little again. He might be suspicious of the caregiver but he couldn't take that excitement away from the other little. He was also sure that Jeongguk would love it too.
"Fine, but i'm still suspicious of you" Seokjin hands over his phone to the lady and allows her to type in her contact information.
She giggles again, "That's okay, I was the same too when i first started caring for little Mijoo" she hands back the phone happily.
"Well, I'll leave you to it" she says lastly then starts to guide her little away.
"Who was that?" Jimin questions as he comes up behind him. Seokjin glances back to him as he pockets his phone.
"Just another caregiver than I've become acquainted with" the older caregiver answers.
