Y/N'S POV
My eyes snapped open and I looked at my phone to see it was 5 am as the alarm popped up with the big words "UA SPIRTS FESTIVAL". "It's the UA sports festival today...." I muttered.
I gasped and sat up. "It's the UA sports festival today!!" I yelled while getting up. I immediately began getting ready. I was so excited that I felt like I was about to die.
I needed to calm down so I took a shower and it seemed to calm my nerves. I was so surprised that I was in the mindset I was in. I was so calm and confident at the moment but I needed to act normal so I put on a straight face before leaving my room.
"Y/n" I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw my dad. "Today make sure you try your best... even if you don't pass or make it to the final round I expect to see the best from you" Dad said.
"Sure" I said while looking away. "And you too Shoto" I looked to see him staring daggers at Dad. "I expect nothing but the best from you... don't mess this up" He said.
I just went downstairs and started eating breakfast. I looked up when Shoto sat down one seat away from me. For the last few days Shoto had actually avoided me which made me feel relieved but from the looks of it he wanted to say something to me now more than ever.
I ate quickly then got up and took a short walk outside until it was time to leave. We were the first people to arrive and dad made sure we were but I wasn't complaining because I was excited.
Though I couldn't show it. I needed to keep my energy saved up so I can use it during the sports festival. "Hey Y/n! Are you ready?!" I looked to see Ochaco. "Yeah.. I'm a little nervous though" I said.
"No offense Y/n but I'm glad you'll be in the sports festival you know one less competition!" Denki said. "Hey you idiot don't say that!" Jiro said while hitting the back of his head.
"It's fine! I get why he said that" I said with a small smile. 'He'll regret that comment later' I thought. "Honestly I'm kinda scared to see what you'll do Y/n! And what the other kids are gonna do but honestly I'm probably good because I've trained like never before!" Kirishima said while flexing.
"You rested right?" Bakugo asked. "Hm? Oh yeah! I just took a walk this morning so I could calm down" I said. "Good" you need to be in peak condition so I can beat your ass fair and square" Bakugo said.
He stopped when we noticed Deku. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT!?" He yelled. "N-Nothing! I just wanted to talk to Y/n!!" Deku said while putting his hands up in defense.
"I'm already talking to her!!" Bakugo yelled. "Don't be mean! You know what come on Deku! The vibe over here is too hostile" I said while grabbing his hand and starting to walk away.
