Abhimanyu POV:

After yesterday's event, I've been unable to think clearly. Thankfully, we chose that particular route to leave, but then we unexpectedly encountered Annaya and Abhay. It wasn't clear at first, so we approached them and saw Abhay being assaulted by goons. As one of the goons tore the sleeve of Annaya's dress, my blood boiled. Just as he was about to hit her with a rod, I grabbed it, and my friends rushed to help Abhay.

I began to beat him, but suddenly, Annaya came and hugged me. I was surprised and shocked because it was our first hug; I was breathless and wished to hold her in my arms forever. However, snapping out of my reverie, I took off my jacket and draped it over her.

Seeing her cry, I embraced her once more, offering comfort with a gentle caress and the words, "I'm here, don't worry." We remained like this for a few seconds, but when she didn't respond, I checked on her and realized she had fainted. For the first time in my life, I was on the verge of tears, unable to think. However, I composed myself and began calling out to her, but she wouldn't open her eyes. We promptly took her to the hospital.

For the past fifteen minutes, she had been in the room with doctors attending to her, while my friends went to the police station to inquire about the incident. My nervousness was escalating until the doctor emerged and informed me that she is fine; she had fainted due to panic. Hearing this, I felt a wave of relief and asked if I could see her. The doctor gave me permission to enter.

Upon entering, I noticed she was asleep, so I quietly approached her bed, took a chair, and sat down, holding her hand. I simply admired her face, noticing a small mole near her lips that seemed to make her even more beautiful. After a few minutes, I rested my head on the bed, still holding her hand.

When she called Abhimanyu, I was the happiest man in the world. Then, I began asking her questions without giving her time to answer. But when she said, "Calm down," I just wanted to hug her. Putting that aside, I shouted at her, "What do you mean, calm down? Do you know how worried I was?" But even then, she listened to me calmly and said sorry.

When she apologized, I was on the brink of tears, so I stood up. But as she approached, she nearly fell, and I rushed to catch her. Despite this, she seemed insincere, and I was ready to walk away when she grasped my hand, urging me to sit. I complied without a second thought. As she apologized again, I could feel my anger dissipating. Moments later, she embraced me, and in that embrace, I wanted nothing more than to remain with her forever. We lost track of time, just being together.

But then we heard someone's voice, and we saw the doctor and nurse standing and smiling. Soon, I stood up and walked towards the window. As I saw Annaya's face turn red, I had an overwhelming urge to kiss her. However, as the doctor began speaking, I snapped out of those unholy thoughts. When she addressed Mrs. Khanna, I was filled with happiness.

They quickly checked, and then everyone arrived. When Naksh told her she wouldn't go anywhere for her safety, she wouldn't listen. So, I raised my voice at her; I know she felt hurt. After everyone left, she looked at me angrily, and I responded same as that.

As she was about to leave, I pulled her towards me. I knew she was angry, but I still asked her what happened. She didn't reply, and her anger seemed to increase, yet I didn't let go. In her anger, she looked incredibly cute and intense. When she addressed me as Mr. Khanna, it felt unique; I've been called like that many times but hearing it from her was special. To tease her, I responded with "Miss Rajput," which only doubled her anger, and I couldn't help but enjoy watching her reaction.

But when she pinched me and scampered off like a small child, I simply smiled at her. Then, she thanked my friend with a hug, and I waited eagerly, like a child anticipating chocolate. However, she glanced at me with anger and departed. I felt a twinge of jealousy at how she greeted my friends, but it soon morphed into a smile because it was the first time she showed anger towards me, and I cherished this new aspect of her.
