Author POV:
Everyone was searching for her. Abhimanyu went upstairs and began checking all the rooms; he was really worried about her.
His gaze fell on the restroom, and he quickly entered without a second thought, leaving the ladies inside shocked as he hastily checked the stalls.
After searching, he came out muttering, "Annaya, where are you, Jaan?" Then his eyes caught the waiter holding Annaya's mobile.
"Hey!" Abhimanyu shouted, stopping him from taking another step. He approached him swiftly. "Yes, sir?" the waiter asked.
"Where did you find this mobile?" he demanded. "Is this yours?" the waiter replied. "Answer my question instead of asking your own," he said angrily, making the waiter gulp.
"Actually, sir, I found the phone lying on the floor near the back door, so I picked it up to return it to its owner," the waiter explained.
"Where is the back door?" "When you go downstairs, it's on the left side," he directed. Abhimanyu quickly took the phone and headed downstairs.
As he descended, he headed towards the back door, and Yuvraj, along with everyone else, noticed and quickly followed him.
"Abhimanyu, what happened? Where are you going?" Shouraya inquired. "Annaya went out," he replied. "What?" they expressed in confusion. "How do you know?" Shraddha asked. Abhimanyu took a breath, frustrated with their questions.
He explained everything, and they emerged from the back door to find a road shrouded in silence, devoid of any person or bird—a complete silence.
"Where are you, Annaya?" Shraddha called out as worry began to set in. They started to move further down the road.
Abhimanyu and Yuvraj led the way, with the girls in the middle and Shouraya, Sahil, and Varun trailing behind them.
"Guys, I think Annaya forgot," Shraddha muttered to Esha, Pooja, and Mahir, who nodded in agreement. They were becoming extremely worried.
"Annaya, where are you?" Abhimanyu shouted.
On the other side as Annaya left the room, tears streaming down her face, she descended the stairs, grateful that the dim lights hid her distress. She longed to leave but knew the security team would follow, which she wanted to avoid.
Noticing the staff exiting through the back door, she decided to slip out quietly behind them. In the darkness, her leg caught on an unseen object, causing her to stumble and collide with the wall.
"Ouch," she exclaimed, and her phone slipped to the ground. Clutching her head, which throbbed painfully, her vision began to blur.
She paused for a moment, then rose up to her feet, she was not understanding anything where she was and what she was doing. She made her way out the back door, stepping into the unknown.
Once outside, she found herself aimlessly walking the road, uncertain of her location or direction.
She was walking and just walking. Her head was paining so much. She clutched her head. As she was walking further, she stumbled and she was about to fall, but a hand wrapped around her waist, saving her.
She saw a man who was unknown to her and was smiling like a creep. She quickly stood up from his hold and saw three other men with him who were looking totally creepy, ready to eat her.
She moved back slowly. "Oh hey, calm down, don't worry," a man said with a creepy smile, which gave Annaya a weird look.
She was moving back more until one of the boys pulled her towards him. She collided with his body.
