I spent the entire day engrossed in work, not answering anyone's calls, especially Abhimanyu's. He called and messaged numerous times, and I kept ignoring him. I felt terrible, but I was at a loss; I couldn't share my dream with him. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to avoid dinner because if I attend, I won't be able to ignore him, and if I do, he will do something i know. It's already 7, and I need to devise a way to skip dinner before my family arrives to take me in two hours.
"Aaahhhh, what should I do?" Annaya exclaimed in frustration.
Annaya regained her composure as Sarika knocked on the door.
"Come in," Annaya said, and Sarika entered.
"Ma'am, Mr. Abhimanyu Khanna is here to see you," Sarika informed.
"What?" Annaya responded in shock, rising from her seat.
"What did he say?" Annaya inquired.
"He said he wants to meet you," Sarika replied.
"And what did you tell him?" Annaya asked.
"I told him exactly what you instructed: that you're not here and went to meet a client," Sarika answered.
"Yes, I told Sarika to say that I'm not at the boutique today, and I didn't have any meetings. I spent the whole day in my cabin, designing and planning the launch of my new designs," Annaya reflected.
"So, did he leave?" Annaya asked.
"No, he waited for a few minutes, then received a call and left. He gave me this note for you," Sarika said, handing over the note.
"Okay, thank you," Annaya said, and Sarika left.

As I read the note, I felt happy about the way he expressed his love and care for me. In the corner of my heart, I knew that if I didn't go for dinner, he would come to my house, and now I have to go for dinner.

Soon, her phone rang, and she saw it was Naksh calling.
