Annaya POV:

"Mam, done," my makeup artist said. "Thank you so much. It's beautiful, just as I wanted." She smiled. They all started winding up their work. Once again, I glanced towards the mirror. I was finally ready for our Haldi.

Mehndi and Sangeet were amazing. Like, I really don't have words. Everything was beautiful, just as we wanted. Especially the Sangeet night, I was really emotional seeing everyone's performances and especially Abhi's special surprise he did for me, seriously Bhagwan, thank you so much for sending Abhi into my life.

The door opened, and my friends entered. They were also beautifully dressed in yellow attire. "Wow, beautiful," they said, looking at me. "Thank you so much, guys. You all are, as always, looking beautiful."

"Okay, now let's go. Everyone is waiting, and especially your man, who is getting desperate to see you," Esha said. They all giggled. Once again glancing towards the mirror, we all headed out.

"Annaya, everyone will be happy and definitely everyone will get emotional seeing you," Shraddha said, and we all nodded. We were heading towards the other side of the palace where the Haldi was held.

We came, and everyone who was engaged in talking looked towards us. The videographers were capturing each and every moment. We all headed inside, and both the families and Abhi were having a beautiful smile, but the Khanna family, and especially Abhi, was emotional.

I went towards our grandparents and took blessings from my grandfather and then went towards Abhi's grandfather. His eyes were also emotional, but he had a beautiful smile. I bent and touched his feet. He blessed me with love and gave a kiss on my forehead lovingly.

"How am I looking, Dada Ji?" I asked. "Beautiful, bacha, as your Dadi Ji used to look," he said with a beautiful smile. "Thank you so much for wearing this dress," he added.

"No, Dada Ji, you don't need to say thank you, and I should thank you for giving the precious dress of Dadi Ji, which she wore in her wedding," I said. Everyone was confused.

Then I went towards Abhimanyu's father and Chachu. As I bent to take Abhi's father's blessings, he stopped me. "My blessings are always with you, bacha, and seriously, you are looking as beautiful as Maa," he said, taking me in a hug. His voice was emotional.

Then I met with Chachu, who also blessed me, and then met with all the family members. "I think we are missing something here," Bhai asked, as they didn't understand why everyone was so emotional.

"Actually, Bhai, this outfit is Abhi's Dadi's. She wore this on her Haldi, so I thought, why not give a surprise? So, I went and asked Dada Ji, and he gave me this, but he didn't know that I would be wearing it today," I explained.

"Oh," my family said as they understood. "This is the best surprise, beta," Abhi's father said, keeping his hand on my hair. I smiled and then glanced towards Abhi, who was also emotional, but his eyes were showing how much he loves me and how much he likes this surprise.

I headed towards him, and he quickly wrapped his arms around me and took me in a hug. "I love you, Jaan, I love you," he said, his voice getting emotional. "I love you till eternity, Abhi," I replied while rubbing his back.

"You are seriously looking beautiful, Jaan," he added as we broke the hug and gave a kiss on my forehead lovingly. "You know, you are also looking hot," I said, the last word whispered in his ear only for him to hear. He chuckled and shook his head.

"Okay, okay, lovebirds, keep your romance till your room only," Navya Di said, chuckling. Everyone also chuckled, but she received a slap on her shoulder from Bua, making her pout.
