Part 13

Annaya POV:

We were all seated in the living room, and the elders joined us from their rooms to wish Shraddha. We were waiting for Bhai and Akshay Jiju to arrive.

"Annaya, please call and check where they are," said maa. "Okay, Mom," Annaya replied as I was dialing. Soon, we heard the sound of a car, and then we saw them approaching.

Akshay, jiju arrived and touched dadu feet, followed by maa, then Chachu, and chachi. They blessed him in return. Soon after, he approached us and embraced us in a hug. "Jiju, I'm very happy you came," I said as we ended the hug.

"I'm also very happy, Annaya, to meet you all, and I was missing you all so much," jiju said with a smile. "Oh, you were missing us or just Shraddha?" Esha teased, raising an eyebrow. "Ha, boliya jiju," Pooja added with a mischievous smile.

"Araa, why are you asking? We know he came for Shraddha," Chachu said, placing his hand on jiju shoulder. "Araa, it's not like that," jiju protested, his face turning red. "Oh my God, Akshay, see how you are blushing," Nisha di exclaimed with a wide smile.

"Oh God, guys, stop it! Leave my jiju alone," I said, and let's go, it's already 12," reminded them, looking towards the clock. "Oh, alright, let's go," bhai said. "Wait, let's bring the cake," Sneha said and went towards the kitchen to get the cake. "Okay, let's go now."

"jiju, you wait outside. When we call you, then come," Esha said. "Okay," jiju agreed, and they we went inside and saw Shraddha sleeping.

"On the count of three," we whispered. "1, 2, 3," and everyone shouted, "Happy Birthday!" Startled by the voices, Shraddha and Raj woke up and saw everyone standing there with a cake. Soon, me, Esha, and Pooja jumped on the bed and hugged Shraddha, wishing her a happy birthday.

"Thank you so much, guys," Shraddha said, embracing them tightly. Then Raj joined in, wishing Shraddha a happy birthday "Mumma, thank you so much beta," Shraddha said, pulling him also into a hug, while everyone looked on with smiles.

They soon ended the hug, and Shraddha walked over to dadu, followed by everyone else who wished her well. Shortly after, someone approached and covered Shraddha's eyes with their hands. Meanwhile, Raj spotted his dad and was about to shout when I came over and whispered that it is a surprise for mom, prompting Raj nod in agreement, giving a thumbs up.

"Say it, Shraddha, who is it?" Esha asked. "Yes, yes, say it, I urged," Pooja added with excitement. "Why have you come now? You should be there only, right? Have you forgotten that you have a son and a wife?" Shraddha said in an emotional voice, silencing everyone as jiju withdrew his hands.

He soon embraced her, apologizing as Shraddha continued to cry, and seeing them everyone also got emotional. Then, Raj approached his parents, and jiju also enveloped him in a hug. Sensing the need for privacy, we all decided to leave, placing the cake on the coffee table as we exited.

Morning 

Author POV:

In the Rajput mansion, everyone is seated at the dining table, enjoying their breakfast, talking, and laughing. "Good morning, everyone," Annaya said, followed by Esha and Pooja. "Good morning, children," everyone replied as they took their seats. "Where are Bhai and Chachu?" Annaya inquired, noticing their absence. "They are in the study," Gayatri informed. "Oh," Annaya acknowledged. Just then, Akshara pointed out, "Look, they're all coming," as she saw Shraddha, Akshay, Raj, Naksh, and Gautam approaching.

"Come have breakfast," Akshara said, and they all took their seats. "Did you have the cake we left on the coffee table?" Esha asked. "Yes, it was meant for me only, right?" Shraddha replied sarcastically, prompting Ananya and Pooja to laugh. Soon after, they all engaged in conversation.
