I was planning to update during the weekends and holiday but I was so busy so here's a long chapter for you!!

Chapter ELEVEN

"Haha you're funny." I playfully hit him on his chest. He's trying to hit me up with a rizz huh?

"Look." His smirk dropped and became serious, "I'm gonna be honest with you, you're not 100% safe for now and it is best if you live with me for the mean time."

"But--"

"I know you will argue and you don't trust me yet but I will assure you that you are safer if you are with me or the guys. We dissappeared for a week to keep you out of our trouble but I don't think it will work anymore. They might be after you again." He explained.

I let out a sigh and touched his forearm, "I appreciate your best concern, Ni-ki. I really do. But I'll be fine, okay? They won't come back for me."

"You don't under--"

"I have my life, Ni-ki. I have my shop I can't just leave behind. I have my brother. I do appreciate your concern with my safety and if I don't have my shop and my brother then I'll come with you, but I have my responsibilities to take care of. I hope you understand." I gave him a re-assuring smile.

He let out a sigh in defeat, as if there's nothing he can do about it. I genuinely smiled at him for being so caring and for looking after me as if we've known each other for years.

"Don't be sad okay? You can come to the shop anytime you want if you want to check on me."

He stared at me before deciding to agree. "I'll protect you."

I smiled and gripped on his hand as a gratitude, "Please stay safe always, Ni-ki."

Days later, I went back to my usual routine. It's been 2 weeks since the incident and I've been doing good so far. My returning customers still come back despite being closed for few days because I was at the hospital, Grandpa Joe still passes by to greet me and Ni-ki's friends would drop by to get something and check on me.

Spencer came back from his trip but I didn't tell him anything because I didn't want him to be worried but sometimes, I would think of safety as well.

"Hi mom." I greeted as I decide to call her.

"Hey love, how are you?"

"I'm good. Are you at work?" I asked.

"Yes dear but I'm on break. Why? Everything okay?"

I bit my lip, "Um..there's something I want to talk about with you."

"Wait you're making me nervous, is it something serious?"

"Relax mom. Nothing serious. I was just thinking of sending Spencer back home."

"Huh? Why? What happened?"

"Well, I've been hearing of rumors going around that there's group of criminals roaming around the area and targetting random people." I lied.

"Wait what do you mean 'targetting'? Like murder or something?"

"Something like that. There's been news that some of our neighborhood are being abducted and until now they were nowhere to be found so I was just worried for Spencer. I can't look after him 24/7 and I'm thinking of his safety and I can never forgive myself if something happens to him." 

"Hun, this is something you need to discuss with Spencer, at the end of the day, the decision is with him."

"I know but I'm telling you this because you have to convince him. I think Spencer enjoys staying here and I didn't want to take that away from him but for now, his safety comes first so I need to send him back home. He can come back here if it's already safe."
