Sherlock:
Sherlock doesn't like going anywhere that involves people, or dressing up: but for you he's willing to do anything. So he takes you to the most expensive restaurant he knows, Sherlock doesn't care where he goes, or how much he spends as long as he does it for you.
John:
You knew John could cook, but you didn't know how darn well he cooked. So naturally your favorite place to eat is at his house. John cooks for you anything your mind could think off, John will attempt his best to prepare the dish you're craving, just as long as he sees a smile on your face, and see you with a content belly.
