Sherlock:

"So, how was your day?" you asked Molly. The girl smile and took a sip of her red wine.

"Oh you know the usual. Sherlock. The one I told you about? He seemed to be having a rough day, came into work yesterday hitting a corpse with a riding crop." she as if it were a normal topic to discuss during a conversation.

"Sounds like a nutter, if you ask me." you said playfully as you drank your red wine.

"Just your type." Molly nudged your side and you both went into a fit of giggles.

"Happy Birthday, Molls!" you exclaim as you hug her.

"Here's to another year getting older." You raise your glasses in unison, clicking the edges together, before finished off the last of alcohol. Molly perched her elbow on the surface laying her chin atop of her hand as she looked across the restaurant. "Oh no." she groaned.

"What? you asked her, but before your friend could utter a word a tall man slid into a booth next to you.

"Evening, Molly." greeted Sherlock giving her a nod, then turning hi gaze towards you, his head tilting slightly. Your mouth parted slightly, eyes narrowing.

"Molly, who is thi---"

"Sherlock, are you on a case?"

"Oh." you said drawing the word out in realization. "So this is---"

"What we makes you think that? Can I not just wish to congratulate you on your day of birth?"

Molly's eyes narrowed seeing that she wasn't buying it, as Sherlock's eyes kept darting back and forth from Molly to you. You couldn't help but stare at the striking handsome man in awe.

"Molly please, do tell your friend if she can stop ogling me." said Sherlock snapping his head towards his head towards your direction with a glare. You couldn't help but laugh, which caught Sherlock by surprise. Moly smirked turning her head away pouring herself another glass.

Sherlock's gaze danced across your features, leaving you to feel slightly exposed by his expression, as if he were reading your mind.

"Who are you?" he asked blinking his way into a much calmer look. You gave him a small smile, and held out your hand, in which he only grasped in return.

John:

You rolled yourself out of bed, and sauntered into the bathroom, turning the faucet on.

You gave a long lawn, and stepped into the tub, pulling a little knob that made the shower head sprinkle out water. It was cold at first, which in return made you shiver, but warmed up rather quickly. Not even thirty minutes stepped out onto the bathroom floor's mat, which caught the water droplets from your hair and body. You wrapped a towel around yourself, and stepped back into the room, pulling out a set of clothes you set for yourself the night before to wear to work that morning.

As you finished dressing and lacing up your shoes, you set off to a coffee shop which was only a few block away from your flat. You managed to get their some what early before there was a long line, seeing as it was a busy cafe. Once the cashier handed you your coffee, she gave you a quick smile an stated the cost of your beverage. You payed and she bid you a farewell.

As you opened the door to leave you crash into someone. The man flew back, muttering what you made out to be curse words, a he was dowsed in hot coffee.

"Oh my God. Are you alright?" you asked apologetically.

The man just laughed as he shuddered off his coat, making eye contact with you and smiled, "Apart from getting soaked, and suffering from first-degree burns? Lovely."
