After an extensive five-hour shopping marathon dedicated entirely to Jungkook's passion for boutiques, they finally returned home with seven bulging bags.

Taehyung, who had the patience of a saint, had patiently accompanied Jungkook through every single store. He even carried the younger boy's many shopping bags so that he could continue browsing for the latest fashion trends undisturbed. The dark-haired man didn't seem to mind, on the contrary, he seemed to have unshakeable patience and nerves of steel.

As Taehyung set the bags down in front of the couch, he suddenly felt Jungkook's arms gently wrap around his waist. "Thank you for doing this," Jungkook murmured happily against the taller man's back. "Jimin always complains that I take too long and become unbearable to store with," he added as he continued to snuggle against the dark-haired man. "So thank you for being so patient with me. I hope it didn't annoy you too much."

Taehyung turned in Jungkook's embrace and looked at him with a smile. "I don't mind at all. I would have accompanied you for another five hours if you had kept looking," he replied calmly.

Jungkook looked surprised and a wide smile flitted across his lips. "I think you'd be a really great boyfriend if you were in a relationship," he said, leaning his head against Taehyung's chest.

The dark-haired man then remained silent, as he saw it completely differently himself. He himself doubted whether he was suitable for a serious relationship. Casual stories were one thing, but a relationship? He was far too afraid that he would become like his father. Besides, he had never developed serious feelings for anyone before and being in a relationship without feeling anything was wrong in his eyes.

"You've been so absent all day today. Is everything okay?" Jungkook asked worriedly, looking Taehyung straight in the eye. Ever since he woke up, Taehyung seemed to be out of it. Jungkook had also noticed this during the lecture and while shopping. The dark-haired man smiled slightly and nodded. "It's all right. Unpack your things," he said and carefully detached himself from Jungkook. He reached for his own bag with the new cell phone and laptop.

While Jungkook pushed his lower lip forward in slight disappointment when Taehyung detached himself from him again, he began to unpack his new things. Taehyung flipped open the laptop and held it up in the air, searching. His eyebrows furrowed as he frantically searched for the power button, which looked different from the one on his old device.

Technology wasn't really his thing. He only knew how to open the writing program for his homework and how to send emails. Anything beyond that, such as installing programs or apps, was beyond him and he was completely lost. He needed help from others for this. He even had to be shown how to send emails and use his writing program. He had simply memorized the steps and that was enough for him.

Despite his lack of knowledge in this area, he knew from his best friend that there was spy software that could be installed on cell phones or laptops. This led Taehyung to suspect that his father might be monitoring his activities - all the more reason to get a new device.

While Taehyung struggled with the laptop, Jungkook cleared out the shopping bags. He noticed Taehyung's confused look and the slight overstrain. So he sat down next to the dark-haired man and looked at the screen.

"What do I have to do?" the older man asked, simply placing the laptop on Jungkook's lap so he could take care of it. Jungkook blinked a few times in surprise and looked over at Taehyung, who didn't look like he was joking with the question. "It's just the default settings that you have to go through every time you get a new device. You basically just click 'Next'," the blond explained patiently, taking over the controls.
