The crackling of burning wood filled his ears, the smoke suffocated his lungs, and pain was all he could feel. He couldn't tell if it was his skin burning, of the exposed flesh the burning cause that caused his pain. All he knew was death couldn't be far behind.

Everything went black...

But he did not die.

As he slowly regained consciousness. No longer feeling the pain of burning alive. If anything, he's better than how he felt that morning.

As he opened his eyes, he noticed he a familiar ceiling and the smell of paper. He had ended up in the Forbidden Library.

"... Well that happened!" Y/N picked himself up. "Once again, my luck brought me to you!" Spinning on his heel, he pointed to the Girl sitting on her stool. "Beatrice! How have you been?"

Beatrice stared at him in silents

"Silent as always." The boy turned again to leave the Library. "Sorry for doing this for the third time this week-"

"It's too late."

Y/N stopped in place.

"Your reason for returning is already gone, I suppose"

...

"Why did you save me?" All emotion in Y/N's voice vanished.

Beatrice looks away with a slight scowl. "Because you look so pathetic I can't bear the sight of you."

Y/N turned back to Beatrice. "Why me!? Why not Petra! Or Meili! Or... or... Why didn't you save them!"

"Wh-why should I have to do that? I haven't a single reason to save anyone, I suppose."

"Then why me! Why did you save me!?" Beatrice was shocked at his outburst. He sighed walking back to the door, attempting to open it. "Beatrice..."

Attempting being a keyword.

"I told you. Your reason for returning-" Beatrice was interrupted by him slamming the door.

"Let me out!"

"But-" She was interrupted by another bash to the door.

If Beatrice wasn't going to let him out, he was fully intending to break out.

"I don't understand-"

Y/N didn't care for what she had to say. "Just let me out!"

"I won't let you, I suppose! I won't let you die here!"

"Why do you care!? You clearly didn't care for any of the others!" The H/C haired boy leaned his head on the door.

"Fine! If you're that desperate to die, then leave, I suppose!" A strong wind shot Y/N out the library, and straight into a wall. Moments before the door closed, he could see Beatrice looking away and clenching her fist.

"... Fuck." Y/N picked himself up, wrapping his coat sleeves around his waist. "Alright, strategy..."

Capella can't be killed by any normal means, so it would have to end the fight in one move, or incapacitate her. He deflated to Love, Pacifism, Repose, Selflessness, Truth, and Piety.
