Her eyes stay closed as she adjusts to the light shining in through her windows.

She slowly opens them.

She feels terrible.

She has no doubt she 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 terrible too.

Her head is throbbing.

At least she didn't have another nightmare.

Who took her home last night?

She looks around her room. She sits up in bed, rubbing her eyes.

She looks to her nightstand and takes notice of the note.

She leans over and takes it.

She reads it.

𝘕𝘰𝘳𝘢,
𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.
- 𝘕𝘪𝘤𝘬

At the bottom of the note is his phone number.

It was Nick who took her home.

Nora feels a wave of embarrassment wash over her.

What all did she say?

And why did he take her home? He didn't have to.

He doesn't even want her. He never did.

So why does he care?

She suddenly feels nauseated.

𝘖𝘩 𝘨𝘰𝘥.

She gets out of bed and rushes to the bathroom.

"Ziggy, talk to me.."

Ziggy stays silent. Nora's been trying to talk to her for fifteen minutes.

Her mom had let her in today.

Ziggy's not talking to her either. Even when she's sober.

Nora had snuck out of the house this morning.

Her mom didn't know. Her dad didn't either.

But their going to find out she's gone sooner or later.

Well... after they get back from the bar they go to every day.

Ziggy sits on the couch, her arms crossed.

Nora just stares, waiting for her to say something.

𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.

She sighs. "Ziggy, we all care about you. This isn't healthy. Just talk to someone, please.."

Ziggy shakes her head. "You don't understand..." She whispers.

"Your right we don't. Cause you don't talk."

She looks up at Nora.

her eyes start to well up with tears.

"You, uhh... You didn't lose anybody, did you?"

"Ziggy.."

"You didn't. I lost my sister. The only person I had left. And for one night she cared. And 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 was the night she was taken from me."

She begins to cry.

Nora pulls her into a tight embrace. Ziggy continues to sob.

After a while, she finally pulls away.

Ziggy wipes her tears.

"We're going to get through this. It's going to be okay." Nora says.

Ziggy nods, sniffling.

"Cindy is still here. She's with all of us. Same for Jeremy, Alice... 𝘛𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘺.."

Ziggy stays silent. She looks down at her hands.

Nora stays with her for a while.

They talk, play games, and talk about their current lives.

"You've got a best friend? Other than 𝘮𝘦?" Ziggy asks, glaring at Nora.

"Zigs, your still my number one."

"I better be."

And she is.

After what happened at camp, Nora didn't have anyone.

Ziggy wouldn't come to school. And when she did, she barely talked to her.

Ziggy just kind of left. That's when Nora met Ellie.

But Ziggy is and will 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 be her number one.

But there is one thing that only Ellie knows.
