Nora answers it, putting it to her ear.
"Nora?"
It's Nick.
Nora closes her eyes and sighs. "How did you get my number?"
She hears a chuckle on the other end. "I have my ways."
"Stalker..." She mutters under her breath. "What do you want?"
He sighs. "Nora, I just want to talk."
"Well, I don't want to talk to you."
She gets up from her bed and locks her bedroom door.
She walks back to her bed.
"Didn't you want to talk two days ago?" He asks. She can hear the snarkiness in his voice.
She 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 doesn't need that from him right now.
Nora rolls her eyes. "I don't want to see you, Nick."
"Just meet me at the park in twenty.."
Nora scoffs. "Which one? The nice 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘺𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘦 one, or the 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘺 Shadyside one..?"
He doesn't respond to that.
"You know what, just meet me at the apartment."
She hangs up on him.
He was trying to be cool about everything. But the truth is, he's not cool about it.
And Nora knows that.
He's onto her about the bruise.
And he's going to absolutely 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘦 it if he finds out.
He shouldn't care anymore. But for some reason, he does.
_______________________________________________Even though Nora said she didn't want to talk to him, she kinda does.
She knows Nick will come after her himself if she doesn't meet with him.
Nora pulls into the parking lot of his apartment building.
The reason she's avoiding him 𝘯𝘰𝘸 is because of her dad.
She can't cover up her marks forever. And she can't cover the cut on her neck either.
She still remembers when he almost beat the hell out of Kurt.
She turns the car off and gets out.
Nick is already waiting for her at the door.
She walks up the steps and stands in front of him.
They stare at each other for a few seconds until Nick leads her through the door.
