Her parents... Thinking about Nick....

Nothing's new.

Her parents are out of town right now. But that won't last.

Nora walks downstairs and into the kitchen. She opens the fridge and peers inside it, hoping to find something.

They have 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.

There is nothing in the fridge.

The only thing in there is a bottle of beer.

Her dad's going to be pissed when he sees it's the last one.

Hopefully he actually went to the store and got some.

But is she really going to have to be the one who gets groceries?

This is fucked up. They're going to rely on they're 𝘥𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳 to keep 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 house taken care of?

But wait, she's not their daughter.

𝘛𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺.

Nora closes the fridge and walks back up to her room.

They're going to do this by themselves. She is 𝘯𝘰𝘵 responsible for their lives.

They can get their asses up, and get their food.

She's tired of them sitting around all day, and drinking. And when they're out of the house, they go to bars.

So they're 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 drinking.

At the end of the day, Nora's parents wobble into the house, drunk as ever.

Well, they've been 𝘥𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘳.

Nora watches at the end of the hall.

Her mom walks straight into the living room.

Her dad makes his way to the kitchen.

He opens the fridge and grabs a beer.

More? Really?

He curses as he grabs the last one. "𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘵."

Nora starts to walk through the kitchen to get to her room.

He notices and stops her. "Nora..."

She stops in her tracks and turns to face her dad.

He takes a drink of beer and wipes some off his mouth.

He looks away for a moment. He looks back and throws a punch at Nora.
