𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞. She wanted to stay with Ziggy longer.

She needed her support.

Visiting her was a bad idea.

Nora walks into her house, quietly shutting the door behind her.

She begins to walk to the stairs when someone calls her name.

"Nora.."

She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath before turning to face her dad.

He's 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘳𝘺.

"Where the hell were you?" He asks, furious.

"I- I was with Ziggy.."

"I don't care...."

"Dad, she just needed my support-"

"I don't care!" He snaps, stepping forward.

Nora begins to step back, frightened.

He's going to do it again.

She can't call for her mom anymore. She won't do anything. He does the same to her.

Her dad grabs her.

She screams.

He throws the first punch, silencing her.

Nora grunts as she hits the ground.

He grabs one of her arms, trying to pull her back up.

She fights back. His grip tightens and she cries out.

"No, dad... Stop it!"

He finally let's go and she falls back to the ground.

She's so scared.

He turns around and punches a hole in the wall.

He stands there for a moment before walking away.

Nora slowly stands up. She stumbles a bit but catches herself.

She can feel the tears coming.

Shes hurries upstairs to her room.

She shuts the door behind her and locks it whilst crying.

She slides down the door into a sit.

Why did she have to let him back in?

After a while, she gets up and walks over to her mirror.

She looks at herself in it.

There's a bruise on her face.

The only person she's told about her dad is Ellie.

Not Ziggy.

She had only told Ziggy about what happened before he got arrested.

Because that's when he was gone. She thought he'd never come back.

If only she'd known.

How can her mom be so 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘥.

Nora sits on her bed, dialing Ellie's number.

She holds the phone to her ear.

Ellie picks up on the first ring. "Nora? Where were you last night? I thought someone kidnapped you-"

"Ellie..." Nora says, holding back more tears.

Ellie can hear it in her voice. "Nora..? Whats wrong."

She stays silent.

"Did he hit you again..?"

"Yes..." Nora sobs silently.

Nora hears Ellie sigh. "You need to tell someone about this. You need to report it."

"No. No one cares. Or they never would've released him. And no one 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 care."

"Nora, 𝘐 care. And I will report it myself if I have to."

Nora's silent after that.

"Look... Just be careful. 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦.."

Nora sniffles a bit. She wipes the tears from her cheeks.

"Okay.."

She barly slept that night. She was scared her dad would try to hit her again.

She didn't want to tell Ellie. But she couldn't hide it anymore once she noticed new bruises and marks.

And Ellie's right.

Maybe she should tell someone.

But she can't.
