MEVANYA, JACE and Baela stood on the beach at Dragonstone, waiting for the ship approaching the shore.
The flag of House Stark flapped in the strong wind, bringing with it a strong promise.
"Lord Stark," Jacaerys was the first to step forward as the Winterfell wolf descended from the ship.
Cregan and Jace embraced with big smiles on both their faces.
"Wow," Baela whispered beside her, not taking her eyes off the Northerner. "I told you so," Mevanya laughed beside her.
As soon as the wolf's eyes were on her, the boy walked towards both Targaryen with his eyes on one in particular.
"Princess, if I had only known that seeing you again would bring me this relief, I would have forced the wind to bring me faster to you," with that same spark as the first time they met, Cregan took the princess's hand and left a vast kiss on it, his eyes never leaving those violet ones. "As gallant as ever, Lord Cregan," Mevanya laughed, amused by the young wolf's coquetry.
A hard slap on the Stark's back nearly knocked him off balance. Jacaerys stood beside him with a tight smile and his hand on the wolf's back.
"May I present my cousin, Lady Baela Targaryen."
Cregan took the girl's hand and kissed it as well. As Jacaerys and Mevanya shared a sly glance, one with which Mevanya mocked the boy's obvious jealousy.
"It is my pleasure, my Lady." "The pleasure is all mine, Lord Cregan." "Perfect, let me show you where you're staying, come with me," almost seeming to be dragging him, Jace led Cregan into the castle, while Baela and Mevanya walked behind them. "What's making you blush harder, Jace's jealousy or Cregan Stark's beau?" The brunette questioned her cousin in a whisper. "Both?" The girls laughed, and unlike the men, both headed for the pit to fly for a while.

Mevanya was walking as she removed her riding gear, returning from that little flight with Baela and her dragons, heading to her room for a bath.
"Your dragons are the most impressive creatures I've ever seen."
Cregan Stark's voice stopped her suddenly, causing her to halt her steps as she faced him.
"Thank you, they are," Mevanya smiled genuinely, both in gratitude and pride. "Not as much as their rider, of course."
Mevanya couldn't help but let out a small laugh at Cregan Stark's flirting, ever since they had met it had been a game between them, something that helped Mevanya get her head out of all the murky thoughts that constantly plagued her, that helped distract her.
