Forgot to post this here yesterday, but I think it's been long enough, right?

Also, not much editing in this. Enjoy!

"Luz, Amity!" Camila called out as she began to approach the room. "Are you two ready to go?"

Camila could hardly contain her excitement since just in the last few hours, after discovering Lucia was alive, she had made a change of plans for their weekend. She had originally planned to take them to a theme park, mostly in hopes of pulling Amity's mind away from worrying about Amelia - which resulted in Luz being quite vulnerable to the subject after seeing how Amity felt towards it. Instead, they would be going to Boston to find Luz's lost sister.

Camila walked up to the door and gently knocked on it, though there was no response from anyone inside. She slowly reached for the doorknob and asked, "Girls? Are you ready?"

From the other side of the door, Luz stood prepared, facing the door, but was waiting for Amity to finish gathering everything she wanted to bring. She leaned her head closer to the door and said, "In a minute, Mamá. We're just finishing up."

Camila let go of the knob after a brief moment, starting to feel guilty about not telling them about the change of plans. She exhaled softly and said, "Okay. I'll be waiting in the car."

Camila waited for a few more seconds before she turned and walked back out to the living room, then exited through the front door and walked out to the car. She quickly unlocked it and got in, putting the key in the ignition without turning it on. She looked back to the front door, and a few minutes later, saw the two girls walking out.

Luz locked the door behind them, and the two girls began to walk to the car. As they walked side by side, Camila noticed her daughter reaching over and interlacing her fingers with the young witch. Her gaze shifted back to Luz's face and saw a very slight blush though Amity had pulled her hand back after a few seconds.

Camila sighed seeing the brief moment between the girls, though her heart seemed to fall at the look on Luz's face after Amity pulled away. She soon turned the key and started up the car just as the two girls got into the car, then fastened her seatbelt. The moment they were all settled in, she began to drive off, not saying a word about the change of plans.

Within just a few minutes into the drive, Luz had noticed her mother driving in a different direction from the usual park they would visit from time to time. She looked over at the older woman and asked, "Mamá, isn't the amusement park south? We're going the wrong way."

Camila sighed and glanced back at her daughter through the rearview mirror and said, "There's been a change of plans. And I know I never said anything, but I'll make it up to you. There's a huge surprise today, and then we'll go to the amusement park tomorrow."

Amity leaned forward towards the front seat and asked, "What kind of surprise? I thought we were just going to spend the day having fun. And where are we going again?"

Camila looked at Amity through the mirror as well and said, "You'll find out when we get there. It's a long drive, so the two of you can rest. Because today, we're going to Boston."

Lucia sat in her new cell, eyes shut, listening to the quiet breathing and whispering of everyone else who was held in the same hall as her. She figured she could easily break out of the cell and escape, but the fear overwhelming her mind kept her in place. "Everything they showed me was true. They may not be as strong as the holograms, but they're still just as cruel. And they have those taser things. I've never felt anything paralyze my body like that while keeping me awake. The collar never did that to me..."
