When Nikki, Brie and I were done in catering, I walked to my locker room to get ready for my segment with Stephanie. I turned a corner and ran into him again. I was starting to get annoyed with the fact that it was always a staring contest between us but every time I was in front of him, I got lost in his eyes. Maybe if I didn't look at those gorgeous eyes I'd be able to focus. I looked at his chest instead.

"Hi." I heard him say. Thank god he said the first word.

"Hi." I replied. I had to have more than that. "So, thanks for helping me out last night with Hunter and Steph. The idiot left a bruise on my arm when he grabbed me. I can't imagine what he would have done if you hadn't come."

"He left a bruise on you?" he asked.

"Yeah. It's fading now but, you know how it is." I chuckled trying to seem casual but the way he asked that question. It was like he really cared about my well being.

"Can I see it?"

I lifted my arm and showed him.

"Does it hurt?" he asked.

"No." I simply said.

"He's lucky I don't go straighten him out. Nobody lays a hand on a girl. Nobody." he said.

I smiled a little. "You seem really nice."

"I am nice." he said. "Listen, I've been wanting to talk to you since last night but for some reason, every time I look into your eyes, I completely forget everything."

"Me too. I don't know what it is." I said.

"I don't either. But, um, would you, maybe, want to go on a date with me sometime?" he asked.

Did he just ask me on a date? And there was no flirting before hand? I think I may like this guy. He doesn't seem all that desperate.

"Sure." I said. "When?"

"Friday, maybe?" he asked.

"Definitely." I said. I took the risk and looked up at him, immediately locking eyes with him. It was like our eyes were magnetic and linked to each other. It was like a snap and we were immediately lost in each other. Everything became quiet.

"Well," he said when he finally found his voice. "I guess I'll see you Friday."

I nodded. My voice was broken every time I looked at those eyes. He walked away and I snapped back to reality and realized I was alone looking like an idiot. I didn't really care. I could only think about Roman and his gorgeous eyes.

It was time for mine and Stephanie's segment. This ought to be good.

I stayed in my spot waiting for the perfect time.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H." Renee said.

They walked over and she hugged them.

"Guys, Monday night you guys were in the ring, you were feeling it, you were on a role and then you get interrupted by Lauren. What are your thoughts on that?" Renee asked.

"Well, Renee. Lauren is someone we like to call a misbehaving child. She's childish. She thinks everything has to happen a certain way forever. There's no room for change in her world. But this is the WWE. Change happens all the time. Superstars and Divas call in sick and we have to rework everything. Sometimes they quit or we fire them and we, again, have to rework everything. Change is all around us. It's not going anywhere." Stephanie said. I rolled my eyes.

"And what about your father, Vince McMahon, making the match between you and Lauren?" Renee asked.

"My father is the kind of man to act on a wimb. He didn't mean anything he said out there. Well, except for being proud of us. Listen, Renee, I know my father better than anyone and I can tell you that at the next paperview I will not be having a match with Lauren. I mean, that's just crazy and ridiculous. I am the boss. I don't fight. I make the fights." she said.

That was my cue. I walked over and stopped on the other side of Renee with a smile on my face.

"Steph. Steph. Steph. When are you gonna learn to quit running this business into the ground? Hm? I mean, you kind of ruin everything you touch. You ruined your husband. He used to be cool. Rolling DX and Chyna and you know, doing all of the cool, muscular, beat people up guy kind of stuff but ever since he started working with you he's kind of turned into a loser. It's true Steph. It's all you. Also, I could have your husband arrested for what he did to me Monday Night. You see, Vince changed the WWE so that men and women wouldn't have physical contact. I left Raw with a bruise on my arm where your husband grabbed me. Just something to think about. And as far as the match at the next paper view, I believe we are having that match per the orders of your father, Vince McMahon. I'll see you SummerSlam Steph." I was about to walk away when I stopped and turned around smiling at Stephanie. "By the way, how's your head?" I walked away smiling. I loved messing with her. It was a lot of fun and to be honest, I was so glad that Vince hired me for the job.

I walked to my locker room and changed. Since I didn't actually fight anyone, I didn't need to take a shower which was good because I didn't want to take two in a row.

My phone started ringing and I answered it. "Hello?" I asked.

"Hi sweetheart." my mom said.

"Hi mom." I said. My family was my weakness. I did anything for them.

"You did so good last night. When you come to town for work, your father and I have a surprise for you. I just know you're going to love it. My dear, Lauren, it will be the beginning of the rest of your life. Have fun my dear." she said. She hung up and I put my phone down.

Did I mention my family liked to control almost every aspect of my life. I just know they won't approve of Roman.
