It was about five o'clock in the evening and I was getting ready for my date with Roman. It was casual which I loved. I was so tired of dressing up in fancy dresses and going all glamorous. I just wanted to be me because I loved me.

Nikki and Brie were with me, helping me get ready. We only had two hours.

I already took a shower so all I needed to do was get dressed, do my hair and my makeup.

"Girl you are going to look great tonight. Roman is going to want to rip these clothes off of you." Nikki said.

"Wow Nikki. A little much." I said laughing.

"It's true Lauren. Roman isn't going to be able to resist you. That's a fact." Brie agreed with Nikki.

I was all ready and Brie and Nikki had left so they weren't here when Roman got here. I didn't want them ruining anything for me or saying something that would make it weird tonight.

There was a knock on the door and I walked over to it. I fixed my hair and straightened out my clothes before I opened it. Once I did, I saw Roman standing there in jeans and a black tank top. He looked really hot. I couldn't help but smile.

"Wow, Lauren. You look great." he said.

"Thanks. You look hot." I said.

He chuckled. "Thanks. You ready to go?"

"Yeah. Definitely."

We walked down the hall to the elevator and I felt like somebody was watching us. I stopped for a second and looked around.

"Everything okay?" Roman asked.

"Do you feel like someone's watching us?" I asked.

"No. It might just Brie and Nikki." he said.

I chuckled. "Yeah. You're right. Let's go." I said. I shook that feeling off for the rest of the night.

We arrived at the beach and I smiled. "The beach?" I asked.

"Yeah. I thought it was nice enough for that and it's not too fancy." he said.

"I love it. Compared to my last date, I love this night already."

"Your last date was too fancy?" he asked.

"Are you kidding? My parents set me up with a guy that they thought was right for me. He has all this money and he's like a nerd. It was way to fancy. I felt like I was some sort of princess." I said.

"Well isn't that how you're supposed to feel?"

"Not like that. It was too much. It wasn't fun. I want fun. All my life I've done what my parents want. I've gone out with who my parents want and it was never any fun. But with you I feel like I can let loose and just scream and laugh and have an amazing time. I want that feeling. Like there's nothing in this world that can ruin this for me or for us. It's just fun." I said.

"I know. Me too." he said. "Come on. Let's go."

We got out of the car and walked down to the sand. There was a table set up with candles and flower petals and it was just so beautiful. I smiled. Nobody had ever done or organized something like this for me. Ever. It felt nice.

Roman grabbed my hand and we walked towards the table. He pulled out my chair and I sat down.

"I feel like after everything you just told me, you think this is too fancy." he said.

"No. No it's not. It's nice. It's better than nice actually. Nobody's ever done something like this for me before." I said.

"Well I'm glad you like it." he said.

A man dressed as a waiter came and put plates on the table. It looked really good.

We ate and had nice conversation and then took a walk on the beach. It was nice.

"What do you say we get out of here?" Roman asked.

"Where?" I asked.

"Your choice."

"Your hotel room?" I said.

He walked closer to me. "My hotel room? You sure?"

"Absolutely. Come on." I took his hand and pulled him along to the car. I wanted to sleep with this man since the first time I laid eyes on him. Now that was going to become a reality.

I woke up in the morning and took a shower. Brie and Nikki wanted me to meet them downstairs for breakfast so I had to hurry.

Once I was done with everything I started heading downstairs.

When I got down there I saw Roman sitting with Dean in the cafe. I had to go in there anyway so I decided to stop by them. I walked in and Roman spotted me and a smile appeared on his face. Oh that grin. I melt every time.

I smiled and walked up to them. I bent down by his ear and whispered. "Last night was amazing by the way. Maybe tonight we can do it again." I said. I smiled at him and then walked away to Nikki and Brie. I sat down with them.

"You didn't get back until late last night. I hope you had a good time." Nikki said.

"Oh I did. I had an amazing time." I said.

Nikki and Brie dropped their jaws. "You didn't." Brie said.

"I did. He's so good at it."

"So did you break it off with Derek?" Nikki asked.

"Yeah. I think I was perfectly clear to him." I said.

"Good. Now you and Roman can go out anytime and do whatever you want." Brie said.

"You got that right. I love hanging out with him. I can be anybody I want to be. I can be fun. I can do what I want. My parents have no control over this one and it feels great to have something or someone all to myself." I said.

"You sound like you're in love." Brie said.

"Not yet. I like him a lot. But I'm not in love with him yet. I'm getting there though."

"Let's eat and then we can talk about this later. It's good to see you smile this Lauren." Nikki said.

She was right. Not only was it good to see a smile on my face, it was good to feel a smile on my face and I owed it all to Roman!
