(A/N: last chapter! After this, I will be uploading all the extras that I was done writing... and later the ones I haven't after I finished writing them XD)

Jiang Cheng looked at the two cups on the table and heaved a sigh. Then, he smiled as he picked up the Emperor's Smile and refilled his cup. Five... four... three –

A familiar gentle aura appeared outside, followed by rhythmic footsteps that Jiang Cheng has used to listening these past months. "Wanyin." Lan Xichen's voice called before his figure appeared.

Jiang Cheng chuckled as he placed down the cup. "Lan Huan." He called and raised his gaze to see Lan Xichen enter.

Lan Xichen smiled, feeling happy especially when he saw that Jiang Cheng seemed to be in a good mood. "Wanyin. Did something happen?" he asked.

"No..." Jiang Cheng answered and shook his head.

Lan Xichen looked at the table. "Was young master Wei here?" he guessed. Only Wei Wuxian could drink in Jiang Cheng's quarters.

"Yes. You just missed him." Jiang Cheng said, acting as if he didn't notice the two were in cahoots about something.

"Oh." Lan Xichen forced a laugh and sat across Jiang Cheng, feeling guilty. So, he placed the new dishes he cooked on the table to distract Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng's smile became wider and he didn't say anything else. Lan Xichen, also feeling embarrassed, was silent. Seeing Jiang Cheng was done drinking Emperor's smile, he started serving the dishes. Then, he watched in silence as Jiang Cheng ate. Just like how he usually did these past months he was courting Jiang Cheng. Lan Xichen knows that Jiang Cheng doesn't know he is courting him, but he has no plans of letting Jiang Cheng know about it. Or else, Jiang Cheng would think he was courting him not because he loves him, but because this was a new agreement between them –

"Lan Huan." Jiang Cheng called.

"Yes?" Lan Xichen smiled.

"Would you like to get married?" Jiang Cheng asked.

"Yes – " Lan Xichen answered, then froze when he realized what Jiang Cheng said.

"Again – " Jiang Cheng continued, then wiped his lips after he was done eating. "This time, let's hold the wedding in Lotus Pier – " he said, but didn't manage to finish what he was saying when Lan Xichen covered his lips... with his (LXC).

"You... Wanyin - !" Lan Xichen's face is as red as an apple as he stared at Jiang Cheng with his eyes wide in shock and filled with disbelief. "Why – " he muttered.

"Weren't you courting me?" Jiang Cheng asked.

Lan Xichen loudly gasped as his mouth fell open. "You knew?!" he exclaimed. "Young master Wei told y – " he said, but Jiang Cheng shook his head.

"He didn't. I figured it out." Jiang Cheng explained.

Lan Xichen froze. Then, he covered his face that was so red. "Oh, god... this is embarrassing!" he said, referring to being exposed.

Jiang Cheng stared at him and wanted to laugh. He never saw this side of Lan Xichen. To everyone, Lan Xichen is an exemplary leader of the younger generation. Yet now... "Your answer?" he asked.

Lan Xichen looked at Jiang Cheng with his eyes filled with many emotions. "I do." He answered. Then, he pulled Jiang Cheng towards him and kissed him.

Marriage... it is really a good thing, whether an arranged one or out of one's will.

(A/N: dang, I didn't expect (to write) this kind of ending (that was also short) XD anyway, I hope you liked it, though. P.S.: there are (a lot) of extras, including the conclusion of this book. As well as... a surprise XD)
