~*+{Y/N's POV}+*~
.:[2015]:.

I hummed a lullaby, a lullaby I used to sing to Alastor back when he'd have a moment of pure bloodlust, just to calm him and prevent further murders in hopes of protecting our lives, fuck all that did. Alas, no one knew this, and just viewed my hum a rather random melody.

My heels clicking against the concrete was the metronome, my left hand's claws moving to the fingering I'd use on a cello to play the harmony of this lullaby of mine. This was meant to calm me, alas all I felt was pure rage.

I turned to a club, walking inside, the bass of the music instantly buzzing my second pair of bones. The demons turned their heads, nudging one another as they noticed me. They did not know me as powerful, only as popular. I made my way towards the office, opening the doors softly as my eyes fell upon the overlord resting his feet on his desk, his mouth hanging open in a snore.

I leaned my weight into my right leg, releasing an ear-piercing whistle. The demon startled awake, his wide green eyes staring up at me. Usually he'd stare with horror, but instead he stared with annoyance. I raised a brow, my head tilting rather unsettlingly.

"Sebastion, I see you've crossed some lines you shouldn't have.. I'm giving you the chance to explain yourself." I said calmly, yet butterflies swarmed within my stomach, butterflies of pure anger.

Sebastion, the blue scaled demon, rolled his eyes, leaning back in his chair as he shut his eyes. "I don't need to explain anything to you."

Within seconds, a pitch-black chain wrapped around his neck, my hand on the other end as I wrenched him over his desk, sprawling him across the floor.

Sebastion wasn't too phased, his glare meeting mine as he sneered. "You're weak.. the only power you have is the power over my soul. If you weren't such a pussy you'd fight me without this demonic voodoo shit."

The audacity this man possessed truly shocked me more than his statement itself. I knocked twice at my skull, as if testing to see if something would respond as I took a moment to decide. I wouldn't lose my calm over a man that wasn't nearly as important as Alastor. He doubted my power, so what?

"See, you have to think about it cause I'm right!" He slowly pushed himself to his feet, his sneer turning into an arrogant, shit eating, grin. He tried to yank the chain from my hands, only for him to stumble as my figure stayed stiff, remaining in control of the shadow-like chain.

"You're not right, I'm think about what I should do about you. You're useless to me now, you're disobedient and I don't keep people around that happen to be like that. What's your suggestion, hm..~?" I stepped forward, my heel clicking against the ground as I did, my eyes widening with amusement as he stepped back instinctively. It didn't matter how tough he tried to be, his sixth sense, the sense of self preservation, would recognize that I am a force to not be fucked with, and he was doing just that.

"I suggest you hand over the club, your money, my soul, and I'll let you be on your way." Sebastion seemed to ignore this sense of his as he eyes made contact with mine. Bold.

"I think not." I replied quickly, my head tilting. "Your boldness is amusing."

"Just like how your non-existent husband is amusing? How's that going for you? No man would ever like a girl like you, admit you made him up."

Not only was that disrespectful to me, but Alastor as well. My grin faltered; my eye twitching along with the lights.

"Aww, did I hit a nerve? Poor, weak, little Miss Wendigo, incapable of finding a husband. Whoever is willing to marry you must be dumb and desperate to get their dick-"
