Titan attack. Boulders flying.
Towards Charlie and Molly.
"Ah, fuck!" Charlie cursed, feeling the sting of a deep gash across her cheek. Forcing Molly upright, she yelled. "Don't freeze now, Molly! Get it together!"
Molly pulled against her grip. "We need to help the people!"
Charlie scanned the chaos. Titans entering the city, people screaming, the air thick with dust and blood. Her breath hitched. "I don't give a shit about them! There's no saving anyone! Let's go!" She snapped, dragging Molly away.
But Molly stood her ground, eyes locked on a titan's approaching form. "No! We still have our gear. We can fight!"
"You can't even face a titan, dammit! Now let's go!"
Molly's determination burned through her fear. "No! I will fight! It's our duty—yours now too!"

Charlie's eyes opened slowly, her breaths were even but her heart was beating rapidly at the faint memory that just visited her in her dreams.
How times have changed.
It was the day after the battle of Trost.
Charlie laid in her hospital bed, her body propped up awkwardly by pillows. Bandages wrapped tightly around her torso and head. Her injured foot propped up by pillows as well.
The room was filled with light from outside, the faint sound of people talking in the halls keeping her company.
The calm after the storm felt unnatural.
The door creaked open, and three familiar figures entered. Erwin, Hange, and Levi stepped inside, their faces a mix of relief and tension.
Charlie blinked slowly, then gave them a lopsided grin. "Look who it is. The cavalry."
Erwin's gaze was steady, but there was a flicker of something—concern, maybe relief—beneath his sharp exterior. "We returned yesterday and heard about your condition." He stepped closer to the bed, his tall frame towering over her. "Charlie, how did you manage to find yourself in not one, but two Titan attacks in your short lifetime?"
