Charlie leaned against the stone wall behind her, waiting for Hange to get Eren out of his cell and into the hallway she was standing in.
Her gaze fell down the hall, where a bunch of people have gathered to judge Eren or watch him be judged. Even Mikasa and Armin were told to participate, which left Charlie with a sour taste in her mouth.
"It's so nice to finally meet you Eren, Charlie has told me so much about you. Not all bad, don't worry!" Hange's voice snapped the Ackerman out of her thoughts.
Hange and Mike lead the cuffed up Eren into the hallway. Charlie nodded at him, pushing off the wall to walk alongside them down the hall. Eren only smiled back sheepishly, her presence not calming but strangely comforting to him.
"...I'm Hange Zoe, a Survey Corps squad leader." Hange explained, walking beside Eren.
Charlie trailed behind them, alongside a few other guards.
Mike leaned close to Eren, sniffing at him a few times. "He's another squad leader, Mike Zacharius."
Charlie almost had to smirk at the uncomfortable face Eren made at Mike's weird antics, remembering the first time she has met the strange man.
"He likes to sniff people he's just met, and then smirk. Don't think too much about it, you'll just end up more confused." Charlie mumbled from behind Eren.
Mike smirked after smelling the boy, like usual.
"But after all, he's good enough that they gave him a squad." Hange threw in, talking about the man like he wasn't even present.
They took a few more steps towards the court room, Eren still not knowing what was coming at him at all, when Hange spoke up again. "Oh, sorry! Too much chit chat. We're already here."
They stopped in front of a big wooden door. "Don't worry. It's actually better not to get any explanation in advance." Hange said.
The guards pushed Eren forward into the court room. "W-Wait!" Eren looked back at them.
Charlie stepped close to Eren one more time, grabbing his shoulder. "Remember; be a flower." She said quietly but demandingly.
And with those words, she shoved him inside once more, letting the guards lead him inside.
