___ Woke up in Kaneki's arms. She blushed when she realised what they had done the other night. She was happy that her first was Kaneki. She didn't want it to be anyone else. She certainly was sure that he would be her last.

The ghoul's eyes opened to the woman he loved the most. He rubbed his sleepy eyes as he sat up. His chest was bare, the blanket covering the rest of his body. "Good morning." He said, kissing her cheek. She smiled and return the gesture. "Good morning to you too."

Kaneki remembered what they had done last night. He smiled at the thought of her being his completely. "Are you feeling well?" He asked. She seemed fine but still, he needed to make sure. __ nodded. Her ___ eyes looked bright and held happiness in them.

Kaneki couldn't help but admire her. He had never felt this way for someone. He was glad that she walked into his empty life. As he was thinking about her, something bothered him. He had forgotten how dangerous his world was. He had decided to go to Antieku with her that day.

When they reached the cafe, Kaneki pulled up a hood attached to his jacket on his head that ___ had forced him to wear. She had a feeling in her gut that something wasn't right. Kaneki had told her the doves had been around the cafe.

They walked in through the door and the fresh smell of coffee hit their sensitive sense of smell. "Welcome!" Said a black haired woman at the counter. ___ smiled and her and blushed when Kaneki held her hand. He pulled her to a table and asked her to sit and enjoy some coffee while he talked to the manager.

She agreed and sat down. Hinami came and sat with her. ___ smiled at the little girl in front of her. "You have the same smell as big brother!" Hinami told her with a grin. ___ blushed beet red. Kids were so innocent yet they say things they don't even know aren't right to say out loud.

"Oh yeah, I noticed that too!"

"Did Ken finally grow a pair?"

The girl couldn't stop blushing. She felt so exposed. They knew what had happened between her and Kaneki. Touka brought over her coffee and gave ___ a smirk that said 'I know you finally did it'. ___ tried to hide her face and groaned. This is so embarrassing.

"Oi damn Nishiki! Pay up!" Touka suddenly yelled the tall ghoul. He muttered something inaudible and came over. He handed Touka some money and walked away. ___'s mouth was agape the whole time. "You guys made a bet on us?" "Well, you see-"

"___?" Said a certain white haired ghoul. "Yeah?" She asked. She smiled at him. He smiled at her too but it seemed fake to her. She knew something was wrong but she wouldn't push him to tell if he didn't want to.

"Oi Kaneki, you finally did it, huh?" Nishiki said, making the ghoul start coughing violently. ___ rushed to him and patted his back in attempt to stop his coughing fit. "Why- Who told you that?" Kaneki said once he calmed down. Nishiki had a blank face as he said something making the couple red with embarrassment, "Well, It's pretty obvious since she's covered with your scent and the fact that I was walking home, passing from her street probably because I heard something disturbing. I could hear the both of you yelling each other's names." He finished, wincing at the last sentence. ___ pulled her hoodie over her head and covered her face with it.

"Oh my god, someone stab me!" The girl squealed in her hoodie. Kaneki couldn't help but chuckle at her adorableness.

~time skip to you and kaneki at home 5 days later~

"Kaneki?" ___ called out from the bathroom. Something was really wrong. She was hopeful that whatever she was thinking was right.

"Hmm?" He said, appearing at the doorway. He noticed ___ leaning over the toilet seat so he rushed to her and rubbed her back soothingly. "Is everything alright?" He asked, worry evident in his voice.

"I hope this is real." She whispered. Tears fell from her eyes and Kaneki was even more worried. What could happen that would make ___ cry?

"Tell me what's wrong?" He asked. He didn't want to push if she didn't want to tell. She smiled at him and asked to go to the market. She didn't want to raise hopes so she would make sure first before mentioning it.

Kaneki agreed and went with her. They walked into a store and the girl asked him to wait for her. She found the section she was supposed look in and bought what she needed.

When she turned around to walk back to Kaneki, he was already standing there with a shocked face. "Really?" He asked. The girl started to tear up and nodded, giving him a soft smile.

When they walked out of the store, Kaneki held her close. "How can it be possible? The doctor said it wasn't possible." Kaneki sighed and hugged her. He rubbed her back soothingly. "Maybe because he was a human doctor he couldn't really figure it out or maybe since you're the offspring of a ghoul and human, something must have happened when you drank my blood or I drank yours."

Kaneki was smart. He had no idea how right he was. ___ just smiled. They both hoped it would happen.

Suddenly something caught Kaneki's eye. A video was streaming on one of the big screens on Tokyo. ___ gasped and held back her tears when she realised what was going on.

CCG found out about Antieku.

Kaneki immediately ran towards the 20th ward. Then he thought of ___ and stopped. He looked at her with apologetic eyes. "Call Yomo, tell him to keep you safe." He said, tossing her his phone. "Kaneki wait!" She yelled. He stared at her, waiting. She ran over to him and hugged him tight. "Please be safe. If it's true, we both need you."

Kaneki's heart ached at the thought of leaving ___ in this condition. He kissed her deeply and left an item in her pocket. She didn't notice. He hoped he would come back to her.
