Harry woke the next morning to a loud crash from downstairs. It was snowing outside and knew that the Weasley twins would drag everyone outside for a snowball fight. Harry looked over at Ron, who to no one's surprise, was still asleep. Before the two boys had fallen asleep, Harry had asked Ron if he wanted to join Hermione, James, Sirius and himself to look at their third and fourth years at Hogwarts. He, of course, said yes. Harry sighed pushing the blankets off and getting up. He looked at Ron before walking to his trunk which, Dumbledore had sent over last night during dinner. He pulled out some clothes, changing, the waking Ron up. "Ron. Get up." Harry said shaking his friend. Ron's eyes opened sleepily. "Wha-?" He mumbled. "Get up Ron," Harry said again. Ron grumbled before getting up just as the door opened. James stood there as if he was just coming to wake the two boys up. "Oh. You two are awake. Breakfast is ready downstairs. I'll go wake the others up then." He said closing the door as he left. Harry rolled his eyes at his dad before waiting for Ron.

As soon as Ron was ready the two boys started downstairs. They met up with Hermione and Ginny on the stairs and Ron, Harry and Ginny started a conversation about quidditch. Hermione ignored them as she had a book under her arm and reached the bottom of the stairs first she quickly disappeared into the kitchen. When the other three entered they saw her sitting at the table with the book in front of her while she ate. Harry sat down next to Hermione, while Ron and Ginny sat down across from them. The four ate in silence for about a minute before Fred and George entered. Fred sat down next to Harry, George across from him. "So, what are guys' plans for the day?" Fred asked. "Catching up with my dad," Harry said. James nodded as he entered having heard Harry. "That right you are. I have a surprise for you. So I want to show you, but it will be tomorrow." James said standing behind Harry. Sirius entered the kitchen, looking very tired. He was just wearing his bathrobe over a t-shirt and a pair of pants. Harry looked at his dad. "Aw. Please tell me!" He begged his James. "No. You'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out." James said in a tone of finality, but with a smile plastered on his face. Harry crossed his arms, looking disappointed. "Aw, cheer up Prongslet. You'll find out soon enough." Sirius said. He and James seemed better, but Sirius was giving Remus cold glare.

Once everyone had finished breakfast everyone went to do their own things. However, James, Sirius, Ron, Hermione and Harry all proceeded to the living room to finish the memories. Remus hadn't been able to come, due to order work but said he would've like to. The got to the living room and sat down in the couched. Harry pulled out the memory of their third year and placed it in the pensive. Harry then leaned forward and let himself fall into the memory. He was closely followed by Ron and Hermione. Then James and Sirius. The memory started at the dursley's house at a dinner party with Vernon's sister, Marge. James glared at Marge as she criticized Harry. Marge was staring at Harry. "And they use a cane at their St. Brutus?" She asks. Harry nods with a cheeky, yet sarcastic grin. "Oh yeah. I've been beaten loads of times." He said sarcastically. James looked at Harry. "She bought that?" Harry nodded and the memory continued. Marge continued talking. "Good, good. I won't hear about this wishy washy about not beating people." She said. She then turned to Vernon. "Don't blame yourself for the boys outcome. It's all with heritage." She says. This got James' attention and temper going. Marge turned to Petunia. "What did you say his father did again, Petunia?" She asked. "Unemployed." Petunia answered curtly. "And a drunk I assume. The ones that are unemployed are usually drunk most of -" she cut of by a thirteen year old Harry. "That's a lie. My father wasn't a drunk." He said fiercely. The wineglass that Marge was holding exploded in her hand soaking the table in wine. Petunia screamed, scared, while Harry and Vernon were looking very surprised. Dudley hadn't noticed anything, but was staring at the TV while he ate. Vernon turned to Harry. "Go to bed." He ordered and Harry started for the door but Marge stopped him. "No, no it's fine. I have a firm grip. Besides its all has to do with the mother. If there's something wrong with the bitch, there's something wrong with the pup." She said. That got Harry's temper going again. "Shut up. Shut up." He roared at Marge. James looked quiet angry. "Thanks for defending us Harry. She has no right to talk about things she doesn't know." James said his eyes displaying how he really felt. Harry glared at Marge and soon she started to inflate like a ballon. It wasn't until a button flew off her sweater, hitting Dudley in the face, that anyone did anything. Vernon tried grabbing her, only to have ripper sink his teeth into his leg keeping him from moving to grab her. She bloated up to the ceiling and out to the yard. Vernon and Petunia followed her out, Vernon trying to drag her back down, while ripper hung onto his leg. Sirius, Ron and James were laughing, while Hermione looked with disapproving eyes, but still had a small smile on his lips. She hadn't know why Harry had blown up his aunt, but now that she knew she found quiet funny but didn't show it. Harry on the other hand ran up to his room to get his things. Slamming his door and kicking the desk. He sat on the bed staring at the picture of his parents. "Who gave that to you Harry?" James asked noticing the picture. "Hagrid." Harry replied simply. Memory Harry packed his thinks in his trunk, before grabbing Hedwig's empty cage and heading downstairs. He was confronted by Uncle Vernon at the bottom of the stairs. "YOU BRING HER BACK! YOU BRING HER BACK NOW! YOU PUT HER RIGHT!" He yelled. "No. She deserved what she got!" Harry said resorting in Vernon grabbing his but letting go at the sight of Harry's wand. "Just keep away from me." Harry said, Vernon backing away. "You aren't aloud to do magic outside school." "Oh yeah? Try me." Harry said keeping his wand outstretched in front of him. "They won't let you back now, you've no where to go." Vernon said. "I don't care. Anywheres better than here." And with that Harry left the house. He stopped walking at the local, yet small park. Setting his trunk down he sat down next to it. It started to get really cold there, even though it was the middle of summer. The overhead street light started to flicker on and off before it flickered out. Then the merry-go-round started spinning, the swings started swinging and the seesaw moved up and down. Harry looked around before seeing a big black dog that barked at him. He stuck his wand arm out before a loud bang sounded and Harry was thrown backwards. He watched as two big headlights appeared and a big purple, triple decker bus followed. James looked at Sirius curiously. "That was you wasn't it?" He asked. Sirius nodded with a smile. They watched Harry's journey on the night bus. James glared at Stan, as he talked about Sirius. They watched as Harry talked with the minister. Then the scene changed to morning to hear two people arguing. "I warning you Hermione, keep that bloody cat away from scabbers or I'll turn it into a teacup!" Came Ron's voice. "It's a cat Ronald. What do you expect? It's in his nature!" "A cat?! Is that what they told you? It looks more like a pig with hair if you ask me." "That's rich coming from the owner of that smelly old shoe brush. It's alright Crookshanks, you just ignore the mean boy." "Harry!" Said Ron looking up at Harry who was standing on the stairs case behind Hermione. "Harry." Hermione echoed Ron turning around. James smiled as the Weasley's talked with Harry. James rolled his eyes at Mr. Weasley's conversation with Harry. They watched the scene changed to the train. They watched as Harry, Ron and Hermione found one of the last empty compartment. "Come on. Everywhere else is full." Hermione said stepping into the compartment. "Who do you think that is?" Ron asks. "Professor R. J. Lupin." Hermione answered him. "You know everything. How is it she knows everything?" Ron asks Harry. "It's on his suitcase Ronald." "Do you think he's really asleep?" "He seems to be. Why?" "I need to tell you something." Harry says closing the door. They watched as it got dark and Harry told his two best friends about what Mr. Weasley had told him, before the train stopped. "Someone's coming!" Ron said fearfully, before a black, cloaked figured entered their compartment. And Harry heard a scream passing out. And Remus stood up casting the patronus charm. When Harry woke up again, Remus gave him chocolate. "Eat this. It'll help. It's chocolate." He explained to Harry before leaving. Then it changed to the feast. I AM GOING TO SKIP TO HALLOWEEN BECAUSE NOTHING HAPPENS REALLY. It was the Halloween feast, and everyone was enjoying themselves. Almost all the third years had been in hogsmead today. But Harry hadn't gone. As everyone laughed and talked. Soon the feast was over and everyone was heading back to their common rooms. Harry walked back to the common room with Seamus, Dean, Ron Hermione and Neville all talking and laughing. When they got to the common room they found it blocked. "What's going on?" Hermione asked trying to see the portrait hole. "Why isn't anyone going through?" Ginny came pushing through to answer their questions. "The Fat Lady! She's gone!" Ginny said. That cause turmoil amongst the surrounding students. They were pushed to the side as Percy came through followed by Professor Dumbledore and Filch. Soon everyone was herded back to the Great Hall because the Fat Lady claimed that Sirius Black was in the castle. The Gryffindors were soon joined by the Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws and Slytherins, who were all very confused as to what was going on. Dumbledore explained everything before removing the tables from the great hall and replacing them with over 200 sleeping bags and mats. Everyone got their own bag and mat before going off to be in area's with their friends and houses. I'm going to be skipping to when they find Sirius after "Buckbeak's" execution, but I'm not going to go into great detail because I still have to do the fourth year and the rest of the fifth book. After Hermione, Harry and Ron had left Hagrid's, Ron holding Scabbers. They listened, rather than watched, as the executioner sliced his blade down. Hermione turned and cried into Ron's shoulder whilst Harry put his arm around her. The five of them watched what happened after Scabbers bit Ron. Ron chased him and then Sirius came dragging Ron with him. They watched as Lupin, than Snape came to the shrieking shack. Then Remus' transformed. Then as Harry and Hermione went back in time to save Buckbeak and Sirius. When the five were pulled back to the living room James was deep in thought. "How did you know that the rat that Ron had was Peter?" James asked Sirius. "Fudge came by my cell one day and I asked to see the newspaper he had. There on the front page was the entire Weasley family, and there on Ron's shoulder was Peter." Sirius said. They sat down on the couches. Harry looked at Sirius. "Sirius, I don't know if I can go through last year again so soon." Harry said quietly. Sirius, had helped Harry out during the triwizard tournament and knew how traumatizing it had been for him. James gave the four of them a look. "What's that supposed to mean? What happened last year that was so bad. I mean, I know that you saw Voldemort-Ron and Hermione flinched at the name-return but I don't know anything else." James said. Harry looked at him. "When you see you'll understand." Ron says stepping in for Harry. James raised his eyebrows at them but didn't push the matter.

A/N
Okay. I had to cut this short. Sorry it took I a little longer than I expected. I got really sick. I'll be able to update easier though because I'm not doing anything.

I need your guys opinion on these few things. Comment your answers to the questions.

-Should I stick to the plot that J. K. Rowling had where she killed Sirius? Or should I save him?
2 reasons for this question
-James' reaction
-Your hearts/emotions

-How in depth do you guys want me to go for the trio's fourth year at Hogwarts? If I don't go into super detail it will be more of James' reactions to every thing that happened that year
-on a scale of 1-10 rate it
-1 being the least in depth
-10 being super detailed with less of James' reactions
