Chapter 28
I laid awake watching Nicole thrash around in her sleep. I needed to see her dreams to see what was wrong.

I asked her but something was wrong she wasn't letting me in.
"Nicole" I said gripping her shoulders stopping her from thrashing around
Her eyes shot open then she jumped on me hugging the shit out of me.
"Baby what's wrong?" I asked
She peeled off me whipping her eyes.
"He's coming" she stuttered
"Who's coming?" I stupidly asked knowing who 'he' is
"A-Aram" she replied
I gripped her hand
"I will protect you love don't worry" I whispered in her ear
She nodded and gave a small sniffle.
"Lets get out of here" I said helping her up
"Where are we going to go?" She asked pulling on her dress the laid next to the bed which we had just made love in.
"I'm taking you to the back up house" I replied trowing on my shirt and some pants
"Aren't you coming with me?" She asked and I could hear the fear in her voice
I sighed and shook my head
"No love. Not this time, but I am going to assign you a guard maybe even two or three" I replied scratching the back of my head
"Why? Why can't you just come with me?" She said now letting tears slowly fall down her soft Carmel cheeks
"Baby I need to protect you I'm Alfa this is my job" I said softly pulling her hips to mine and whipping her hair away from her beautiful face.
"If you want to protect me come with me Kev. Let the pack fighters do the dirty work" she begged
I lowered my head and felt her how she was scared and worried.
"I wish it was that easy baby girl but my pack needs me as much as you right now, they wouldn't know what to do if I sent them off to go fight another pack that they only heard about once or twice. If I want to protect you I'm gong to have to make your brothers pack extinct and I can't do that with these wholgans running around. I want to stay with you, curl up in bed and stroke your soft hair and leave kisses all over you and just have sex but I can't baby girl. I'm sorry but I can't not now at least I have to protect you first and if fighting your brothers pack is part of it then so be it. I love you Nicole and I will do whatever to make sure your safe" I said softly creasing her cheeks as she wrapped her arms around my waist
"I love you" I said cocking my head so our eyes would meet
"I love you" she whispered back
I nodded and pressed my lips on hers letting our tongues dance together.
"Alfa" someone called from the ground
I let out a low growl making Nicole cling tight around my waist.
"What?!" I growled looking down at three of my men.
"Alfa he's coming soon" one called
I looked down at nicole and you could smell the fear running off her like sweat droplets.
"baby" I said cupping her cheeks
"I know I know just breath" she replied before I could open my mouth "I was going to say I love you" I grinned
