we finished getting our stuff together and placed our suit cases by the door. this was it, we were going back to hell. it is going to be a long time till we are alone once again. well if we make it out.
"baby don't think about that" Kevin said pulling a water bottle out of the fridge
"I'm sorry its just beating me upside the head" I apologized
"I understand its just you can't think about it. we have to think about the future not the bad that could happen" he replied walking over to me
"besides nothing bad is going to happen" he said softly in my ear as he wrapped his arms around my waist
"I-I know it's just I've never fought before" I replied
"I know so that is why I'm going to help you" he said with excitement
"like how?" I smiled and turned around so I could see him
"once we get home your going on a killing spree" he said
"oh no. no no no no no I'm not killing anyone innocent" I yelped and jumped back
"Nicole its going to be fine and trust me their not innocent I promise, oh and you are alphas wife the Luna so with that you need to save me if I'm in danger" he resorted with a smirk
I nudged his arm and crossed mine
"fine" I pouted
"awww were's that beautiful smile?" he asked getting closer and lifting up the two sides of my mouth trying to create a smile
"there it is" he laughed as I pulled up my lips giving into the smile
"baby I promise that no matter what at the end we will be victorious" he said placing my head on his chest
"I know it's just Its going to be hard walking back into the house I grew up in, excuse me I mean we grew up in. and then killing my father it just scars the shit out of me" I blabbed out
"I know baby I know how hard it is but you have to trust me, I'm not going to let you get hurt" he said taking my shoulders and and moving down a bit so we were eye to eye.
I nodded but let a tear escape letting it slowly trail down my cheek
"aww baby don't cry" he said whipping the tear away
"I'm sorry" I apologized and whipped my cheeks
he placed my head on his chest and started stroking my hair calming me
I closed my eyes and listened to Kevin's heart beat with mine.
"I love you baby girl" he whispered as he stroked my hair
"I love you every much"
"I'm not going to let anyone hurt you"
"so beautiful" he whispered and with that I fell asleep
it felt like ten minutes went by as Kevin held me to his chest when another set of foot steps entered the room
my eyes shot open and I jumped out of his arms and ran to the sounds of feet with a growl
"shhhh baby shhh its alright its just the driver" Kevin said taking my hand
"what's gotten into me?" I asked holding my forehead
"your wolf knows something is going to happen soon so she's on her toes about everything" he replied
I nodded and walked back into the kitchen pulling out a water bottle.
