The next week, Mr.R greets us at the door telling us we are moving seats. I started to feel really upset and disappointed, and I was waiting for Cameron to walk through the door.
"Dang it, I liked where I sat," he whispers to himself, and I felt like what he said might have meant that he liked me too. I tried not to get my hopes up.

Mr R had a sheet of paper and told everyone where he put their desks. Mine was in the front row, which I was happy about. I waited for Cameron's name, hoping he'd be at least near me. I waited and waited and eventually his name is called... last. He is in the back corner of the room, and I see the disappointment in his face.

"Go to your new seats, everyone," Mr.R says, as the kids head to the middle of the room.
" It's time for the following students to go to the 'Gifted and Talented Education' class" Mr.R says, looking at the clock.
"Brooklyn, Katy, Emily, Xander, and Cameron. You five will go to this class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at this time every week," he says as he points to the door. The five of us walk to class, and don't say a word to any of them.
