Fate is await soon you'll be awake...
Looking through this hourglass...
Broken dreams...
Broken fiend...
Lines and needles help take this pain away...
Smoke...going up in flames...
Puff puff past...
Forever living in the past...
Just a little lost soul sailing alone...
Waiting for home...

Soon fate will be coming knocking at our door. The date is finally here, and I can't wait to meet with the rest of my family again. I was sitting in my living room watching the scheduled program that our government had for the day until my tv was interrupted with a special. A person was on tv. I never knew they could do that. I was so fascinated by it that I almost missed the important message. "Important message I repeat an important message. We have received the date. We now know exactly when His arrival will begin. We all must get ready. We still have some time to get everything out of your systems. The government has tried to prepare you all as best as the government can but now that we have the date, you know what is expected of you. You now know that He is real, and you must get ready. The celebration will begin soon so get ready. And remember, the government is here to protect you." The screen cut back to our daily message.

The government is here to protect you. Yeah right. I don't believe in anything that the government tells us. We cannot even think for ourselves. If we disagree with the government, we can be killed. I remember my mother telling me stories of social networking sites. She said it started with that. You could connect with everyone from all around the world. If people disagreed with you, they would drag your name in the mud. It was like you couldn't have an opinion anymore unless it were the popular opinion. One of the unpopular opinions was believing in Him. She said evil started being celebrated and well started being seen as evil. But how does this all explain what's going on now?

There was a knock on my back door, and I knew it had to be him. Him being my best friend through it all. Taylor August. We are not allowed to have visitors, but we sneak around anyways. I walked to the back and unlocked the door to let him in. As soon as I let him in, he grabbed me by my waist and gave me a quick peck on the lips, and smiled.

"So, are you ready for His coming?"

"I don't think I know how to get ready. Did you see the message the government made, told us that they prepared us for His coming but how? They didn't even believe in Him."

Taylor August frowned at me. He's skeptical about the government as well; he doesn't see the things that I see. And his family is all for the government, and his parents work for them, so Taylor August grew up trusting them until he started noticing their lies.

"In their message, they said you now know He is real. What do you think they mean by that. And how come none of us seen the date that he left?"

"I did you know my parents work for the government."

"How do you know it was real?"

"Well, you know that last blood moon we had."

"Yes."

"Well, the date came right after that. I was skeptical at first, too, but it couldn't have come from one of us down here, and my parents have been talking about this book."

"Book," I said with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, a book. I mean, they don't think that I hear them talking about it, but it all falls in line with this book. And I happen to know that the date isn't tonight. It's in a few days."

"In a few days, then why tell us it's tonight and what's the celebration for?"

"I don't know that yet, but I plan to find out."

"Well, they didn't tell us how to get ready, and they are keeping the date from us. What if they plan on leaving us behind."

"I doubt it if they told us to get ready. At least I'll get to spend a few extra days with you. Just let fate happen. Soon we will be going home."
