My escape, it sort of failed.

Underneath my window is a tangle which you can call an electrical fence, so when I jumped straight onto it, the result wasn't so pretty.

I got 2nd degree burns on my thighs and hands (which hurt worse than death, probably), and had to stay in hospital for two weeks. Ever since I arrived, I've been stuck in bed with a bunch of security at my door & Gina by my side 24/7.

Today, the bandages on my hands came off. "Are you ready?"

I nodded to her, and she began to remove the bandages from my hands. My eyes landed on the tiny scar on my thumb, aftermath of that late night getaway with the gang where I drove a lawnmower into a tree. It was a weird night, but, best night of my life all the same.

My friends bounced into my mind. Should I even call them that anymore?

I hoped to stay here for at least a week, and have them at least try to rescue me, seen as its Sierra's dad who's keeping me here.

Yesterday it was 3 weeks since I arrived.

"Am I hurting you?" Gina asked, I shook my head. "You're crying, love"

"Sorry" I whispered, wiping my face with the back of my left hand. The scars weren't as gnarly as I expected them to be (the ones on my thighs and knees are virtually invisible).

She handed me a tissue, the applied the cream I was prescribed to my scars. Whilst she did so, Mr Parks walked in.

"I'm glad to see you're okay. That was a very dim move of yours" he said, striding my way. I allowed the comment to go over my head. "Is everything alright with the burns?"

"Yes, they seem to be healing properly-" he looked to Gina. "Sorry"

He then gestured for me to speak. "You heard her"

"Good" he sat down at the end of my bed, taking a call. As he sat, the gun he always carried on his belt happened to slip out and beside my foot.

Smoothly, I slid it under the covers. Gina looked at me, eyes wide.

Mr Parks hung up abruptly. "My new 'diamonds' have arrived, if you know what I mean, gotta go and welcome them"

I took the opportunity of him walking away. "Not so fast"

He looked stunned at the fact I was holding a gun to him, especially since my hands still hurt slightly. But, he chuckled. "If you kill me, you will most definitely not leave. Not alive at least"

"Watch me" I spoke at a new deeper pitch. He turned around confidently, then, with a slight flick of (the wrist) his hand, security came marching in.

I didn't even last two seconds conscious after that.

Ross Lynch

"This better work" I sighed, adding coins to the payphone. The others watched me anxiously, as this was now or never.

If we had new allies, we'd be able to save Athena today. However, if we get a no, it may take forever to save her.

"Hello, David?"

"What belongs to you but other people use it more than you?" He said. We all exchanged a look.

"David it's Ross, I-"

"What belongs to you but other people use it more than you?" He repeated. The riddle.

It hit me. "Your name- my name"

"It's nice to hear a familiar voice in times of struggle" he sounded exhausted. "How may I help you?"

"We want to go save Athena, now"

"We tried, Ross. We really did" David told me.

"I have 3 spies with me, and two hella smart girls. We just need weapons and back up from F.A.S.T." I replied. "Please"

David paused for a second, hesitated, and then carried on. "A F.A.S.T. can will be there in 20 minutes, be ready to leave, if you know what I mean"

"We're more than ready" Riker spoke, and they all cheered. David chuckled.

"See you in a second"

It was even more hi-tech than what I remember. Yet, everything was in place, the way it used to be. The way it should be.

Inside was the huge digital world map with red dots in places, symbolising where spies were. David came walking down the little ramp, embracing me in a hug.

"We have a lot to talk about" he said during the hug. "But not now"

"Can I become a spy?" Casey asked eagerly. David smiled.

"If you really really want to" he chuckled. "I was Athena's mentor"

"Am" Rocky added.

"You're right, am" David nodded. "To the guns"

quick disclaimer, don't take my word on the electric fence burns; I'm not sure of what happens and if you do get such bad burns from those (this is just a story anyway- but don't try it) (I hope that made some sense idk)
