Soobin's POV:

Yeonjun and I were spending some time together on our day off, finally getting to relax and not have to worry about working until tomorrow. This week was so busy as well, all we wanted was to just stay in and snuggle with each other while watching movies all day. Yesterday when we got off work, all we did was eat dinner and then instantly go to sleep. We were barely able to bask in each other's presence.

This morning when we woke up, we stayed in bed for over an hour just cuddling with each other and chatting because we barely got to last night. That's when we decided all we wanted to do was relax, so much so that we couldn't be bothered to make breakfast for ourselves. We took a walk down to the coffee shop a few blocks away from my apartment, holding hands as we walked inside as well. Yeonjun and I parted a little when we went to the back of the line, putting my hands in my coat pockets while he crossed his arms over his chest. He put one hand to his chin, eying the menu closely to decide what he wanted.

We yapped and chuckled more as we waited for our coffee and pastries, mutually deciding to go back to my apartment right after and eat while snuggling on the couch. It was starting to get colder outside, the chill of autumn coming up quickly, so being in each other's warmth didn't sound like too bad of an idea. Yeonjun grabbed the bag with our pastries, each of us holding our own coffee as we made our way to the door.

"Daniel?" We both turned our heads when I was about to open the door, stopping in our tracks.

I was confused for a moment, staring at the woman who called out for Yeonjun. She had a coffee mug on the small table she was occupying, along with a laptop which was currently plugged into its charger. I scrunched my eyebrows, wondering if this was possibly an old friend of his. I turned my head to look at Yeonjun, wondering why he wasn't saying anything in response. He seemed stunned, lips parted and eyes slightly wide as he stared back at the woman sitting at the table.

"Wow, it's really you..." She added, "It's been a while." She said, moving to stand up from her seat.

Yeonjun flinched, backing away towards me. He quickly pointed at her, trying to hold onto the paper bag with our pastries at the same time, "S-Stop..." He sounded scared, and my stomach flipped for a moment, "Y-You're not supposed to be within a hundred meters of me."

As soon as he said that, I knew who she was. I've only heard stories, and I never thought I would see her. Some people in the shop heard that, and I noticed their stares, but I focused on the fear in Yeonjun's eyes instead.

She rolled her eyes, "I'm here visiting my grandparents, but their wifi sucks and this was the closest place with free internet..." She sighed because Yeonjun wasn't fazed, "Dan, come on—"

She tried to take a step closer, and I didn't hesitate to put myself between Yeonjun and her. I moved closer to her, not allowing her to move anymore and putting my hand out to make her stop, "I know who you are..." I said, hushing my voice, "And unless you want to cause a scene, I suggest you sit back down and pretend this never happened."

She raised an eyebrow, "Who are you? A cop?"

I tilted my head as she crossed her arms over her chest, "I am, actually. And I can either arrest you right now for violating a restraining order, or you can sit back down."

That seemed to make her tense up a little bit more, but she refused to back down. It seemed like she still had more things she needed answered, "Are you two... together?" She asked, and then looked over my shoulder at Yeonjun again.

I blocked her view, "If you so much as look at him one more time, I will arrest you..." I stared into her soul, and she stared right back, "Take my advice."
