In Ramayana it is mentioned that Devi Sita was a very obedient wife..quite submissive and that was her nature as a human.

Shri Ram was also governed by his human nature where in he had some principles and he used to follow them no matter what. It was his nature and he lived by those principles till the end.

So in Ramayan LakshmiNarayan were just living as humans would.

Whereas when we talk about Krishna, he totally lived as a God. Not that Ram didn't know that he was Vishnu, of course he knew but it was within those human laws. No one but only the Rishis knew who was Ram in reality.

On the other hand in the case of Shri Krishna, not only him but everybody intelligent ( like Vidura, like Bhishma ) around him knew that he was Lord Narayan, the Supreme Lord. And by that means he was never bound by human laws. He was always chaotic and not bound by any kind of principles and human rules.

He was like chaos and mischief incarnate.

And Devashree is kind of the same. She is chaotic like Krishna and she knows her worth. She knows she can break rules and get angry if she wants to, show her real emotions and cause all kinds of chaos around her just as Krishna does.

So she is kind of free to question everything and everyone including her beloved husband and she is going to keep him on his toes throughout the book.👑👑👑
