Chapter 11

Shawn p.o.v.

After I dropped off the car I got Danny and went home. I skipped dinner with my parents because I wanted to spend some time with my kids. We watched disney movies while eating gogurt and string cheese till bed time. It was weird that I didn't Cameron though. Matt told me he dropped the kids there for an unexpected sleepover. I hope he's okay.

Right now it's 9 in the morning and I'm talking to Ashton while waiting for Luke.

"Are you sure about this," Ashton asks for the billionth time.

"Yes. Just calm down," I assure.

"I'm just scared to meet his kids. What if they don't like me? I can't compete with his children and I could never make Luke choose between me and his kids."

"Relax." Ashton takes a deep breath and breathes out. He does that for a couple of minutes till he relaxes.

"I think I'm good," he says. Then the doorbell rings and he tenses again. I laugh and walk over to the door and open it. I'm met with Luke and his five kids.

"Hey Shawn," they all say.

"Hey," I say back.

The children run pass me as soon as they see Danny and Drew. I laugh and hug Luke. "I have a surprise," I whisper to him. "What," he asks. I grab his hand and walk to the kitchen. When he sees Ashton his eyes go wide and covers his mouth. I see a few tears fall.

"Hey Luke," Ashton greets nervously.

Luke runs to him and warps his hands and legs around him. "I can't believe you're here," Luke says.

"I know me too."

"I've missed you Ashmellow."

"Me too Lukey charms."

I leave them alone, so they can talk and catch up. I walk into the den and take out my laptop. When I log onto jobsearch.com I hear a beep from my phone. I take out my phone and see a text from an unknown number. It said,

Hey princess

They must have dialed a wrong number. Who would text a stranger hey princess? I text back,

I think you have the wrong number

I put my phone on the coffee table thinking that was the end of talking to them, but 2 minutes later I receive another text. I check it and I blush reading the text.

Did my princess forget the knight that would save him from dragons

Taylor? How did u get my number, I text back.

I get Ash to give me your number. Don't be mad at him I begged him to give it to me

I smile and text back.
