PICTURE OF DEREK ----------->
As the four of us made our way to the front door, Zane turned to Xavier. “Don’t kill her.”
Xavier laughed and Zane walked quickly back up a set of stairs opposite the ones we had just come down. Christa then handed Xavier a small plastic bag before heading back up as well.
“Alright. I want you to go into the bathroom and change into this.” he ordered and handed me the bag.
I quickly changed into the pair of white wash skinny jeans and the silver sequin covered tank top. It was an eighties kind of look but I liked it. I then walked out and he smiled.
“That looks great! Now lets go!”
We exited the house and he walked to a separate building that I assumed to be the garage. I waited for a few moments before a shiny white BMW pulled up beside me. I couldn’t help but smile to myself as I got into the sports car, excited to be doing something halfway normal.
“Okay so now that I’ve got you we’re going to make you over. don’t get me wrong you already have amazing looks but I’m going to make sure Zane’s jaw drops.”
My eyebrows came together in confusion. “Why does it matter? He’s got Keera anyway.”
“My dear, Keera is just another obstacle! Besides her and Zane hate each other.” he waved his hand around and rolled his eyes.
“I still don’t understand why I need to make ‘Zane’s jaw drop‘…”
He sighed. “Because. I may seem a little hardcore but I’m a softy for happy ending, must have been all those Disney movies I watched when I was a bit younger… anyway I’m not blind so I can see there’s a little something for Zane you’ve got going. Am I right? Eh?” he smiled mischievously and winked.
I my horror I felt my face flush and I wasn’t sure why. Sure he was stunning and sweet and just about everything a girl could ask for but he was a vampire prince and I was a human. Not to mention was engaged. Maybe all those time I had felt so calm and safe in his presence were just reminders that there really was something more growing. “Last time I checked Zane was engaged.”
Xavier groaned. “What is it with the two of you?” he asked himself almost hopelessly.
“Excuse me?” I asked, utterly confused.
He shook his head. “Never mind but still. It can’t hurt to try.”
Before I could ay anything he pulled into a large parking lot that surrounded a tall building. I recognized some of the store signs that decorated the malls exterior as I followed him and inwardly groaned. This was definitely going to be a long day.

“Here take this and try it on.” Xavier said quickly while shoving a new outfit towards me.
I groaned. “You’re going to kill me before I even get to wear all this.”
“Well then I’ll make sure to burry you in a nice outfit that I picked out. Now go.” he smirked and my shoulders sagged in defeat. I mean, who could resist Xavier? Not me, that’s for sure.
I walked into the dressing room and closed the door while holding up the piece of clothing to see what it would look like. I knew my body and I didn’t need to put it on the know it would fir. Besides I had learned long ago with Xavier how to slip through by saying I had tried it on when really I had just looked at it. I knew I should feel bad but with Xavier in charge I felt relieved that I had a loop hole. I jumped as I heard him enter the dressing room. “Does it fit?” he asked.
