Chapter 6: Reunion

Mika's POV

" Mimi, wake up!! " I felt something soft touching my face " 5 more minutes " Nooooo, I'm hungry " I opened an eye and noticed that my exceed, Cupcake was staring at me " Okay okay, how about some oatmeal with strawberries today? " She nodded furiously " sounds delicious!! " She has her pajamas on still " why don't you go run us a bath, I'll make food, we eat then we shower and then we go see what the guild is doing yeah? " okayyyy " she summoned her wings and then flew away to the bathroom
Oh yeah! We got our original guild back, so that means we had to move out of the hut and back into an apartment, luckily for me I found a great one, it's a bit far from the guild but hey, walking never did anyone anything, it was big, had a room with a queen sized bed, a decent sized kitchen and bathroom,the living room was a bit bigger, and we have a guest room. A perfect little place for a girl and her exceed. I mean we could afford something much more expensive. But why waste all your savings on a big place if its just the two of you.
I opened the cupboards to take out the oatmeal mix, the fridge for the milk, strawberries and sugar, and of course the dish washer for utensils. Turned on the stove and started cooking our breakfast

Mini timeskip

I set the table just as Cupcake flew back in the room with her bunny costume " I swear you get cuter every time you wear that " she was playing with her tuff of hair curling on her forehead, trying to make it look nice " thank you ~ " I always buy her cute outfits but that one seems to be her favorite. She flew to her seat and started to eat " I'm gonna take a shower okay? " she nods and continues eating while I go back to my room to undress

After the shower

I decided to wear a white shirt with black shorts, the shirt was tucked in, my knee length black boots some fingerless gloves and a black choker with an amethyst hanging from it. " I wonder what they'll think about my look " I grab my keys and stuff them in my pocket and headed downstairs again " Heh Mika I washed my bo-" Cupcake stopped talking and just stared at me " YOUR HAIR!!! " do you like it? " I twirled a piece. My hair's natural color is royal purple. But I decided to switch it up with a magic potion ( pic above. Artist : Viteloi on IG ) and some scissors " If certainly... Looks different. A good different though " Thank you cake, I'm gonna eat and then we can head out okay? " Okay ~ I'm gonna read " she flew towards the door, I always had a book around there for her to read. Pft. I hope the rest don't freak out too much

At the Guild

Our walk from the house to the guild was quite awkward, everyone kept staring at me, either they realized its me or they think I'm new. I mean. Nobody's seen me with my eye uncovered. Ever. Hell. Even I think its weird, but hair grows back so.

We reach the door and I hear a commotion " a party? " I don't know Cake. Maybe. "
I open the doors and the first thing that happens.

I GET TACKLED TO THE FLOOR AND A BIG PAIR OF BOOBS SUFFOCATE ME " MIKAAAAAAA. I'M SO HAPPY YOU FINALLY SHOWED UP " WKSNSOSBDISKEEK " i made muffled noises to signalize. I.can't.breathe. I raise my one arm up in hopes of God or someone to reach back and HELP " oH RIGHT I'M ON YOU " the person gets off " FINALLY. AIR. " I stand up " Okay sis. Its on thing jumping on me. But suffocation. Really? " I was dusting off my clothes, but when I didn't hear anything. I looked up. A. The guild was quiet and B. The one person i relate to on many levels is standing before me " W-what... When...." She smiled at me. A genuine smile " I'm home " I burst into tears immediately " you're back. You're actually back " I hug her back very tightly " I missed you so much " I started sobbing " there there " she pats my hair " I like the new look by the way. In your last issue of sorcerer's magazine. You had purple hair " yeah I changed it this morning " I sniffed and wiped my tears " looks good kiddo " Kris winked " i-i'm not a kid! You're just older by a few months " Exactly. You're a kid~ " Oh hush >< " she laughed and the rest of the guild joined in

" We have so much to catch up on!!~ but first " I raised my arms " PARTY!!!! "
