Its been a week since we got the news
Connie hasn't gotten over it , then again i haven't either
She was in the babies room tearing down everything
"Connie, you don't have to do that"
I walked over to her and hugged her from behind. She was emotionally unstable. Going through 9 months of pain and then.....you get the picture
She put her hand over her face and started to cry, so did i
"Steven" she sighed
"Yea?"
"We should go tell everyone now, lets go visit everyone, i miss them"
"Are you sure you're ready?"
"Yea" she wiped her face
We moved away from everyone so we could take care of the baby on our own, i build us a pretty sweet house, but i guess we weren't ready..
I packed up the car and we headed back to beach city
The whole drive we didn't speak to each other. She was looking out the window and i kept looking over at her.. I did a slight smile and grabbed her hand
When we got to beach city we went straight for my old house, and oddly enough the gems and my dad were there
"Welcome home son!! And connie!!" They all yelled
"Huh , heyy"
"Well where is she!?? I wanna finally meet my granddaughter!"
Connie and i looked at each other and she started to tear up
"About that"
"Oh.." My dad walked over to me and gave us a hug, which caused us to cry even more
"Im sorry you guys, you're welcome to stay here again, we miss you!!" Pearl said trying to make the moment better
I sniffled and wiped my face
"Thanks".
Connie and i started to take stuff into my old room
"Hey, ill be right back"
"Ok "
I walked down the steps to my dad
"Hey dad, can i talk to you for a second"
"Sure Steven whats up"
I pulled out a ring
"Im thinking about asking connie to marry me"
"Wahh ?? I thought you were already engaged haha , did you propose to her when you were like 15 " she started laughing at me
I sighed
"Dad! Seriously ! "
"What! You guys are practically married already ! I say go for it!"
I slightly blushed and smiled
"Haha i guess you're right, but how do you think i should ask her"
He put his hand on my shoulder
"Thats something you have to do on your own"
I sighed
"Thanks, and here, can you hold this for me?"
