My dad wiped his eyes and yawned
"Why...why do you need to sleep here?? You have a house go there.."
He rolled back up into his blankets and started snoring
I groaned and rolled my eyes and then started pushing him
"dad, i cant go back there...connie and i, well um.." I coughed
He rolled over and hand an eye poked out looking at me
I sighed
"We aren't doing the best right now"
He sat up, scooted over, and patted for me to sit next to him..
I started explaining what happened
__connie's pov__
I sat back on the bed with a pillow in my arms hugging it
I kept replying what happened in my mind
Enjoy your movie, then he leaves
I groaned and started quietly crying in the pillow till one of the gems doors opened
I looked up to see who it was..
It was a garnet
I sniffled and wiped my face i didn't want her to realize i was upset
"Hello garnet"
She lifted her hand to signal 'hi'
I sniffled but i tried to hide it
She was about to walk out the door, but she stopped and turned back towards me..
I guess she realized it by now
"Connie, whats wrong"
"I think Steven just broke up with me"
My eyes started to water, even thinking about that makes me wanna cry
Sooner or later tears started flowing down my face
"What do you mean"
She sat on the bed beside me and listen attentively
"Well long story short, i guess he was gonna ask me to marry him, and his dad gave him the ring, and he put it in his pocket, when he fell asleep on the beach i went in and grabbed it....then he found it in my pocket and it left me..."
"Oh.."
Garnet stood up and started walking down the steps
I looked at her in confusion then muffled to myself sarcastically

She then turned around
"You're welcome, and by the way...he'll be back"
I jumped up with excitement
"When??"
"I dont , tomorrow, in a few weeks, month, when ever he feel like it...but he'll be back"
