I continued running to the Big D to visit Lars and Sadie
To be honest I just want food...I don't much care for them
When I got there it felt abandoned
"Sadie?"
I walked further through
"Lars?!"
I rest my hands on the counter bending over it to seeing if they are on the floor
"Where are they..."
I started arguing with myself
I want a doughnut...I could leave an I O U...
But thats stealing...and stealing is wrong..
It was a petty argument but enough to break me apart
__Steven's P.O.V__
"Ugggh ..jeez my head" I rested my hand on my forehead and then looked up..
"C-connie!"
I was shocked to see her lying on the ground
"Are you ok?"
She sat up and threw her hands in the air
"Whoo haha..why don't we do that more often"
"Haha to be honest...I'm not so sure ..."
But honestly we both know why we don't do it much
I stood up walked over to grab her hand to help her up..
"Well that was fun..but to be honest..i want my daughter back...i wanna go home"
"But! But ! The fun is just getting started connie! Plus i dont know where the gems are...or Rosie"
Connie sighed
"Well lets make the most of the time we have left..ok?"
I looked at her and blushed
"Yea sounds great"
I grabbed her hand and we started to walk around town...
What to do next..
As were were walking we found arrows
"Hmm?.."
We walked closer to it
Steven and connie! Follow me!
"Who left these?" We both asked
"Maybe the gems?"
"Maybe.." connie said
"Well lets follow them!! " i said smiling grabbing her hand
I thought to myself ..i hope this is leading to the time machine i asked peral to build...im running out of ideas...
We ended up following them back to the temple...
And a whole bunch more were pointing to the warp pad..
I picked up a piece of paper that was on top of the warp
To the barn! It said
Why would we go there? I thought
i grabbed connie and teleported us..
When we there my dad turns around and yells surprise
"What is this for, Steven"
"I dont know.."
I started to look around and noticing more and more and started having a flash back...
My 14th birthday?
My dad ran over and gave the both of us a hug
"Dad what is this about?"
"Pearl asked me to do it!"
"What?!" We both said
"I mean um..how about some music huh?"
My dad ran over to his van and played a slow song..
I turned to connie..
"Shall we..."
"Connie?"
She was right here a second ago.. i twisted and turned looking for her
But i couldnt find her?
"Connie! Where did you go!"
I started running around and into the barn but i couldnt find her?
After a while of running i found her at a spot were she set up a tent that one time
She was just sitting there staring off into the distance
I sat next to her
"You ok?"
She sniffled
"C-connie?"
I started to reach my hand out to her and she turned and fell into my arms
"Connie whats the matter.." i said softly lifting her up to look at her
Tears were rolling down her face
"I..i know what youre doing and i appreciate it..but steven i think its best if we go our sperate ways..i love you...i cant ever stop loving you but i feel your trying to keep something that isnt worth fighting for..im sorry...
I dont want you to do all this for me.."
Connie tried to stand up and leave put i pulled her back down to me and embraced her with a hug..
"Connie i will never stop fighting for you..you are the person i think about as soon as i wake up and as soon as i go to sleep...i will never let you go..i made a mistake giving you back the rings..but i love you and i cant lose you..dont ever think like that again ok? I love you"
I softly grabed her chin and kissed her...it was full of passion it felt i could stay there forever with her just..having her in my arms..
