i looked at all the different pictures i had of me and Steven Together.. and cards i got from him..
i noticed one that was taped to the back of a picture frame..
"huh? when did this get here? " i sniffled and picked it up it said..
HAPPY 14TH CONNIE !!
it was a home made card with a drawing on the front of Steven and i holding hands...
tears started to come up as i opened the card and read it..
YOU'RE MY BESTEST FRIEND EVERY AND I CANT IMAGINE LIVING WITHOUT YOU!! I HOPE WE STAY BEST FRIENDS IN THE FUTURE AND CONTINUE GOING ON COOL ADVENTURES WITH EACH OTHER!! Sorry, this is a surprise card since i didn't get you one earlier.. hope you see it!!

i flipped it over and just cried.. it..it was me and something was written on the back

i sniffled and tried to hold back tears..i just couldn't do it...
i walked to the conch and put my head into a pillow
i soon felt a touch on my shirt..
"Ma.."
my eyes lit up..
"Rosie...? your.. your speaking.."
I wiped my face and sat up to her...
she put her hand on my cheek..
"you're just like him.."
i lightly grabbed her hand and held it there..
"so gentle, and sweet"
i thought to my self.. i need to see him..at least..for Rosie..
i looked back down at her and she smiled at me..
she wiped my tears.. but stabbed me in the eye..
i smiled back down at her and rubbed my nose with hers and laughed
"i needed this.."
__Steven's P.O.V__
The gems were surrounding me while i was still one ground
Pearl rested her hand on my back and sat down next to me
"Steven, its gonna me ok.."
"NO ITS NOT!" i starting balling
"You guys dont understand, i lost everything.. my wife..my child..my home..myself."
"what do you mean?" ame asked
"I left Connie because she wanted me to quit being a gem..i quit on her and gave her my ring..cause i wanted to continue being a gem with you guys..cause you guys raised me.."
"but Steven..."
The three of them look down at me, and i looked up at them wiping away tears..
then pearl began to speak..
"Steven, we'll be here forever..Connie wont.."
i looked back down at the ground
"Steven, we are here to help you, to help guide you through battles, to love you as our child..to give you wisdom..to raise you...so you can go off on your own..to be with Connie.."
they looked at each other
"without us.."
Garnet got down on one knee..
"Connie doesn't mean she wants you to leave..shes worried about your safety.."
"But She wanted me to leave you guys..for good"
"But steven..trust me..she was concerned..she loves you more than you could ever imagine and wanted whats best for you..like we do.."
"but i wanna be a gem..and be with her.."
"You can..but that what you have to discuss with her.."
i got up and started walking upstairs
"ha, shell never wanna talk to me again..or even look at me..."
"im not to sure about that.."
she smiled at me..
"what do you mean..?"
she pointed to the window.. and Connie and Rosie..was walking towards the house..
