Chapter - 35

"So..!! You all are staring at this cute little
princess..!! Let me introduce her..!! She
Manvi Manik Malhotra..!! My
daughter..!"Manik proudly introduced his
little love and Manvi smiled at all.
"Good Morning Miss.Malhotra..!!"All
employees greeted her in unison.
"Good Morning..!! He is my friend
Smurfy..!!"Manvi greeted back and
introduced Smurfy. After introduction they
walked towards Manik's cabin. Manik
picked up Manvi and made her sit on his
black lavish big chair.
"So Miss.Malhotra you liked Papa's
office..!!"Manik asked touching her nose and
she bobbed her head with so much
excitement and Manik became more than
happy.
"It so big...!!"Manvi exclaimed.
"Manik..!! It's time for the meeting..!! Let's
go..!!" Mr.Malhotra said to Manik and left
the cabin. Then Manik turned on his
laptop.
"Coming Dad..!! Mano Papa ki jaan..!! Ap ya
cartoon dkho Papa abhi meeting attend
kar kay aaty hain ok..!! Kahen jana
ni..!!"Manik said lovingly pecking her cheek
and she nodded. Manik played some Barbie
movie on his laptop and Manvi started
watching it. Manik ordered his PA to get
some snacks and juice for Manvi then last
time advising her not to leave the cabin he
walked towards the meeting hall. Manvi was
hell engrossed in the movie,eating the
snacks and sipping her juice,when suddenly
Smurfy jumped off her lap and run outside
the Cabin.
"Smurfy..! Come back..!!"Manvi whispered
but he ran away. "Aiyooo..!!"Manvi slapped
her head."Papa ny bola tha bahal(bahar) na
jana..!! But Smurfy..!!"She saw smurfy
entering in a room. She crawled towards the
room and no one noticed her. She entered
the room and caught smurfy. "You ale(are)
vely(very) naughty..!!"Manvi said pulling
Smurfy's ear and she walked towards the
door. She tried to open the door but the
door was stuck or may be locked. Actually it
was store room. "Aiyapaa..!!"Manvi became
horrified. She knocked the door but to her
dismay no one heard the knock as it was at
the end of the corridor. "Papa..!!"She
shouted as salty tears started trickling down
her cheeks. She was continuously shouting
for Manik,as there was so much suffocation
she was feeling difficulty in breathing.
"Papa..!! GrandPa..!!"She once again shouted
but no one was there to listen her shouts.

Manik and Mr.Malhotra came back to the
Cabin after cracking the deal but Manvi was
not there.
"Manvi..!!"Manik called her name. He look
in to the bathroom but she wasn't there.
"Baby we are not playing hide and seek
come out..!!"Manik said worriedly.
Mr.Malhotra look under the table but she
was not there too. Manik run out of the
cabin.
"Where is Manvi..!!"Manik shouted
worriedly and all employees became
horrified. Manik's PA came running and
Manik grabbed his collar. "Where is my
daughter..!!"Manik yelled on top of his
voice.
"I do-don't kn-know Si-Sir..!!"PA fumbled.
"What the hell you mean you don't know..!!
Aisy kahan chali gai wo haan..? I told you to
keep an eye on her..!! Listen agar meri beti
ko kuch hua na tou I will fire you all right
now..!!"Manik shouted as loud as he can and
PA felt dizzy. Everyone in the office started
searching Manvi. Mr.Malhotra and Manik
were madly running in corridors shouting
for Manvi but no response.
"Dad meri bachi..!! Pta nahi kahan ho ge..!!
Main Nandini ko kya boloon ga? "Manik
said helplessly to Mr.Malhotra as tears
brimmed in his eyes.
"Manik..!! Relax wo mil jye ge..!! Security
guard has told me kay wo bahar gai he ni..!!
That means she is in
here..!!"Mr.Malhotra tried to console him
although he himself was so much horrified.
Meanwhile building security head told them
that Manvi was no where Manik's heart beat
was breaking all the records. He was
walking towards his Cabin when suddenly
he saw Manvi's hair band. He look at the
direction and his eyes fell on the storeroom
door. His sixth sense alarmed him and he
run towards it. He tried to open it but it was
jammed. Mr.Malhotra to came.
"I know..!! Manvi is inside..! I
know..!!"Manik shouted and then applying a
little effort he broke the door. He
immediately entered the room and the sight
in front of him was enough to dry his blood
in his veins. Manvi was lying unconcious on
the floor and Smurfy was trying to wake her
up. "Manvi..!!"Manik shouted and
immediately picked up her and walked out.
Mr.Malhotra caught Smurfy and he he too
followed Manik. Manik laid her on a couch
and took off her sandals.
"Manvi..!! Papa ki jaan..!! Papa ka baby open
your eyes please..!!"Manik said worriedly
rubbing her cold hands and feet. As due to
suffocation Manvi became unconscious. Each
second was difficult for Manik. All the
employees were dumbstruck on seeing their
arrogant Boss crying.
"Papa..!! Papa..!!"Manvi whispered in her
still unconscious state.
"Yes baby..!! Papa ap kay pass hain..!! Please
meri jaan aik baar eyes kholo..!!"Manik said
crying badly while Mr.Malhotra called the
doctor. Manvi maybe on feeling her Papa's
touch slowly opened her eyes and Manik
released her breath.
"Papa..!!"She shouted still horrified and cling
to Manik. Manik wrapped his strong arms
around her and she started sobbing. "Papa I
was calling you..! Wo dool(door) open he ni
ho la tha..!"She said between her sobs.
"Shhh..!! Bus ab aa gye na Papa..!! Bus mera
brave baby roni ni..!!"Manik patted her back
and slowly she came back to normal. Soon
doctor came and checked Manvi.
"Miss.Malhotra is absolutely fine..! No
worries..!!"Doctor said and Manik sighed in
relief.
"Thank you doctor..!!"Manik said and doctor
left.
"Aj tou hmari doll ny apny Papa aur
GrandPa ko dara diya..!!"Mr.Malhotra said
cheerfully and Manvi gave him a faint
smile.
"Papa..!! Mjy Mama pass jana hai..!!"She said
nuzzling her face in his chest.
"Han chalo..!!"Manik readily agreed and
picked up Manvi in his arms. Mr.Malhotra
picked up Smurfy and Manvi's sandal's too.
They came out of the office and drove back.
Three of them ate ice cream in their way.
Manvi was happy now and other two were
happy seeing their angel smiling. But one
thing they don't know that their happy
moment was going to ruin soon.
"Mama..!! I am home..!!"Manvi shouted
excitedly as she entered the Mansion while
Manik and Mr.Malhotra was behind.
"Aa gai Mama ki jaan..!!"Nandini too
shouted from her room and then they saw
Nandini came running down towards them.
They smiled but suddenly Nandini's foot
tripped on a stair and before any of them
could react Nandini fell and came down
rolling on the stairs.
"Nandini..!!"Manik shouted and run towards
her. She fell on the floor as blood had
started oozing out of her forehead and also
from her head. Manik immediately gathered
her in his arms. All came running towards
them. Manvi was too much horiffied now.
"Nandini..!! Meri jaan..!! Please..! Talk to
me..!!"Manik shouted worriedly but Nandini
closed her eyes. She was fainted...!!!
