It had been about an hour since the baby was born, and my hand still hurts. I don't think that shot worked well enough, Mandy did not enjoy herself. She told me she hated me, and I didn't even do anything. After she have that final push, the doctors immediately took the baby to clean her off and Mandy fell asleep shortly after.

I suspect the pain may have been a little too much for Mandy, as she's been sleeping for an hour now, and didn't even seem excited to meet her daughter before she dozed off. Everyone else had already left, deciding to go home and prepare the house for Mandy and the baby. Jacky and I already got to see her, and Dan if she wasn't the cutest fucking baby I've ever seen. She resembled Mandy quite a bit, but she had some features of Max's. I sighed heavily. I didn't hate the guy, but I think he should've done a better job at maybe making Mandy think he was an actual adult. He should've been here, but he was never able to grow up. I heard Mandy rustling in the bed, and my gaze snapped to her.

"That was a really nice nap," she said, "But I am never doing that shit again. Fuck that."

"I bet," I said with a laugh.

The nurse peeked in to see Mandy awake, and left, but came back in with the baby and handed her to Mandy gently. Mandy was holding her very carefully, like she was afraid she would break her. Mandy ran a slim finger along the baby's cheek. I heard her sniff.

"Mandy, you okay?" I asked her.

She looked up at me and smiled brightly, her eyes were pooling with happy tears. The nurse came back in a few minues later, breaking the comfortable silence with paperwork. Mandy went through the process of naming her baby and filling out the papers.

Macy Chaise. I like it.

The nurse must've thought I was the father and asked me if I was proud of Mandy. To which I said I had never been more proud of anyone in my life, making Mandy smile softly at me. Then, the nurse said that we shouldn't have sex for about four to six weeks, which was awkward.

Once everything was okay and the nurse thought Mandy was okay enough to walk, we walked out, Macy in hand. We strapped her in her carseat that was way too big for the car, but Mandy insisted it was the very best one someone could buy, and we went home. Mandy then laid Macy in her crib carefully, before she went and took another nap. The rest of the guys had already cleaned the house up and arranged to have pizza delivered to us, so Mandy would be able to rest.

Today was an eventful day, my hand still hurt abs my best friend just became a mother today. I did have a few phone calls to make though, so I woke Mandy up and whispered that I was heading out, told her to call me if she needed me, then I left the house in a hurry.
