Its been three days since the tour started and it was going great so far. We'd already stopped at our first venue of the tour and parked the buses. I never really saw Mandy, she was always on her bus or something. I couldn't help but keep an eye out for her everywhere I went, though. I wasn't sure why I was always so tempted to look for her.
I was walking by the Insomniac Outcast tour bus and finally saw Mandy, along with Chris, and Corey being attacked by fans, all of them yelling excitedly to the group and thrusting different objects in their direction for them to sign. Mandy looked genuinely happy to oblige every single person she spoke to, and took her time to speak with every fan, even if it was just for a moment.
I didn't want to be caught staring at them, so I averted my eyes quickly and kept walking toward my bus. I walked in the door and immediately sat down on the couch. Craig and Robert were playing MW3, Monte was off somewhere doing whatever he does when he disappears. I just sat there and watched the two of them play.
After about five minutes, I got bored of listening to them complain about how unfairly the other was playing, so stood up and walked off the bus. It was getting dark, but I just felt like walking around to shake off the boredom.
"Are you lost?" Chris asked, surprising me as he seemed to appear out of nowhere.
"No, just bored so I decided to go for a walk," I said with a shrug.
"Well, then come to our bus, Mandy and Maddie aren't drunk, so we're bored too."
"Sounds great, lead the way," I said, motioning him forward. I really wasn't looking foward to seeing Mandy, but, I kind of, in a way, was. I had jitters in my stomach as we walked closer toward their bus.
I followed Chris and we went inside the bus, but I was so zoned out, I didn't even know we had arrived until a stray foam bullet hit my nose. Corey was shooting a Nerf gun at Mike, who was trying to hide. Maddie and Mandy were sitting on the couch watching, while they were both eating a piece of cake. I sat down next to Mandy hesitantly.
Mandy
Ugh. Who invited him?
Despite his mean attitude, I'd grown to crush on him a bit. We've rarely interacted since the tour started, but any time I was outside the bus and I saw him, I couldn't help but stare. I've always thought he was attractive, personality aside, at least.
"Slow down with the cake, you'll get sick," Max said, but I could tell with his tone of voice and that stupid smile on his face, what he really meant was, "Slow down, fatass."
This is exactly why I haven't tried to pursue you for even a booty call, much less getting coffee together.
"No," I responded with an eye roll, before sticking my fork back in my cake.
"Are you sure? You don't need the extra pounds," he said, obviously trying to upset me.
Mental bitch slap for him.
"You're not exactly in the best shape either," I said, eyeing his body up and down.
"Are you checking me out?" He asked with a smirk.
Mental kick in the balls.
I laughed at his comment," You wish. Leave me alone and let me eat my cake in peace."
"Is there even anymore cake left or did you eat it all?" He asked, finally pushing my last button.
That's it!
"Yeah, I did, you can have mine though," I said kindly, then picked the piece on my plate up and dropped it straight into his lap. Then I got up and went outside to cool my anger.
I walked around the complex in the dark, kicking my feet as I went. How can someone who barely knows me dislike me so much?
I mean I know I was a little aggressive when he first knocked me over, but so was he, right off the bat. I've never sat down beside him just so I can indirectly call him fat.
I climbed up the ladder on my bus and perched on the roof, trying to calm down and regain my composure.

The second I said it, I knew I went a little too far. I kinda deserved her "giving" me her cake. I don't know why I acted that way, it's like nervousness kicked in and I couldn't stop talking.
After I tried to clean myself up, I went outside to find Mandy and apologize. I walked around slowly and I looked for ten minutes, but I couldn't find her, so I gave up and went back to my own bus.
Everyone was still awake, but I just went to my bunk and laid down. I mentally cursed myself, and reminded myself that I'm not usually this rude, and I knew that I needed to give her a good apology as soon as I saw her.
