I was doing my make up for tonight, I had already gotten dressed. I had on a black dress that stopped in the middle of my thigh that was corsetted around the torso, had on a thick line of eyeliner and I was putting on mascara. I'm didn't plan on wearing much make up. I straightened my hair and left it hanging down around my shoulders. A few minutes later, I was done, and I walked out to sit on the couch and wait for Max.

At exactly 7:00 P.M., there was a knock on the door. I got up and answered it to find Max standing there waiting on me. He was wearing a white button up shirt, black skinny jeans, and black Vans slip on shoes. I smiled shyly and walked off the tour bus to stand in front of him.

"So, where are we going?" I asked quietly. I was nervous, considering I hadn't been on a date in years.

"Where do you want to go? I figured I'd leave it up to you, as the lady," he smiled back and said. It was probably the first genuine, wholesome smile I've ever seen him give.

I thought for a second, then had the best idea ever. I remembered there was a steep hill towards the back of the venue.

"Go change out of your fancy clothes. Put something on that you don't mind getting dirty," I said excitedly. I ran into the bus and quickly changed into a Black Veil Brides shirt, skinny jeans, and my Converse. They were already torn up, so I didn't mind. I walked back out and Max was already there in more casual clothes. I looked down the road and saw a Wal-Mart. I grabbed Max's hand and started running towards it.

We got there and I ran straight to where the air mattresses would be. I bought one and a pump to go with it. We ran back towards the venue and Max still had no idea what I was planning, he kept trying to guess while I was pumping air into the mattress. But, honestly, if he didn't know what I was planning, he may need medication.

As soon as it was blown up, I hoisted it above my head and took off towards the steep hill. He started laughing when he finally caught on.

When we got there, I laid the air mattress down at the top of the hill, jumped onto it stomach first, and slid down the hill on it.

I remember doing this when I was younger with my dad and his family during a vacation to the mountains. We had gotten snowed in at our hotel, and we were unable to leave the property, but our air mattress in the snow was more entertainment than we could've hoped for. It was still as fun as ever. I ran back up to the top, dragging the mattress behind me, and handed it off to Max.

"This doesn't seem like a good idea. I saw you almost fall off!" He yelled, but he was laughing.

"It's fun, really, just try it," I begged. Max laughed harder and laid down on the mattress delicately, then I pushed him down. He went farther than I did.

The rest of the night was a battle of who could go the farthest. I won once, but that's because I got a running start. Max tried to run and jump on once, but when he did, he missed the mattress and rolled down the hill. Max won every other time.

During this battle, we talked and got to know each other. He was actually really funny and seemed to care a lot about the people in his life.

By the end of the date, which ended after midnight, we were both covered in grass stains and scraped from the rocks. Despite being beaten up and exhausted, we'd both had a good time and couldn't stop talking about it on the way back to my bus.

"That was actually pretty fun. Good idea," he said.

"I'm a genius, I know." I replied, even though I was looking down at my feet nervously. I couldn't dispel the butterflies in my stomach caused by the way he was looking at me.

Max caressed my cheek, causing a blush to creep onto my cheeks and neck. I bit my lip to keep from nervously smiling and the move seemed to entrance him. He leaned down toward me slowly, almost like he was asking permission, so I met him the rest of the way.

Our lips touched, and I felt fireworks erupt in my belly, like they did our first kiss. This was was slow and sensual, our lips moving in perfect sync with each other. It stayed chaste though, and before I had a chance to take it further, he drew away.

"Goodnight." he said quietly, his own cheeks tinted pink.

"Goodnight." I responded.

He walked back to his bus and I opened the door to mine quietly, knowing most people in the bus were probably asleep, other than Maddie.

"How was your date?" She asked absentmindedly from the couch, where she was browsing around on her laptop.

"Good," I answered happily, and she gave me a coy smile.

I walked past her into the bunk room, where I changed into my pajamas and crawled into bed. I dozed off almost immediately, thinking about how good of a time I had tonight.
