Chapter 1 - Love Sick Puppy

School is now finished and it's now summer. Summer was going to be amazing, spending the whole summer in America with my three best friends.

My phone rung in my pocket, I grabbed it and saw that it was my mum.

"Hi mummy." I chirped happily.

"Ella, y--you need to come h---home. Y--your nan is-- is in hospital." She cried.

"Is nan okay?" I gasped, my hand shook as I heard my mum crying down the phone to me.

"I don't know baby, they have taken her into hospital." My mum sobbed down the phone to me. My mum and my nan was so close, yes they wasn't blood related but my nan always said that my mum was the daughter she never had.

"Where is dad?" I asked, my friends looked at me with expression that was meant to give me comfort but only brought me sadness.

"At work, I can't tell him yet, you know how busy he is with work."

"You need to ring him mum, it is his mother after all."

"I know sweetie, I know. Do you know where your brother is?"

"Leo has gone out with a couple of friends, I'm out shopping with the girls for America." I sighed running my hand through my dark hair. "Which is stupid now, because I won't be going now."

"What?!" The girls exclaimed. "Ella you need to go, we've been planning this since Christmas!"

"Shhh." I said to them.

"Oh hunny, I know how long you've been planning this." My mum said clearing her throat.

"There's always next year, and I want to make sure nan is okay. I don't think I could ever live with myself if something happened to her and I was in America." I said, it was true. And if anything did happen I knew my mum and dad would need me and my brother, Leo.

"Okay, well once your father gets home I think we're probably going to start driving to Hampshire."

"Okay, well I'll be home soon and I'll start packing."

"Okay baby, I love you millions."

"I love you millions too." I said hanging up. The look the girls gave me was enough to put me six feet under. "I'm sorry but my nan-- she's gone into hospital. It might not even be bad and then we can still go to America."

"What are you going to do in Hampshire? I mean your nan lives in the middle of nowhere." Amelia, she was small, dark brown hair and tanned skin with dark green eyes, she moved from Australia two years ago.

"I don't know, go horse riding? I mean I kinda always wanted to do that."

"With who?" Amy, she was tall and had dark features and her eyes were to die for- like a warm chocolate brown colour.

"Myself." I laughed, "I don't get much time by myself. Considering my dad is Alexander Knight, you know the billionaire. So it'll be nice not having to worry about the press for a while."

"Guess your right, and there is always next year." Tiff, she was advantage height, with browny-ginger hair with light blue eyes.

"Yeah, I should probably go-- thanks for being understanding." After hugging the three of them I left. Pretty much running to my BMW to get away from the press.

"Is it true you nan Anna has gone into hospital?" One shouted before I quickly shut my door and drove off.

I put my phone on loud speaker as I rang Leo.
