Chapter 22 - Forever and Always (Epilogue)

Their gone, they left. 

And now I live with my Nan and her husband, Simon. 

My life was so different now, I can imagine the things the press are saying back at home about me staying here. Probably saying because I don't like my Dad anymore. Which isn't true, I love him. 

And Jesse, he asked if I wanted him to stay the night and I said no. Only because I wanted to be alone as it sinks in that my family are two hours away, which didn't seem a lot but the thought of not seeing them everyday made me sad. 

But I had my Nan, Simon and Jesse. 

They are my life now, and I was grateful that I could stay here and still be with Jesse. 

I would need to get a job, maybe go to a local college or maybe go to a local university. I didn't know what the future holds for me, but I knew for sure that Jesse would be apart of it.

2 years later 

"Jesse?" 

"Yeah?" He called, walking into my Nan's house. 

"Where are we going?" I laughed, he texted me a couple of hours ago saying to be ready and wear something formal as we was going out but didn't say where. 

"Its a surprise." Jesse grinned kissing my cheek, "you look beautiful by the way." 

"Thank you," I blushed, "you look very handsome too." I was wearing a long navy dress as Jesse wore a black suit and tie. "Where are we going?"

"Its a surprise." He repeated. 

"I hate you." 

"You love me."

"I know." I sighed, "but I wished I knew where we was going."

"You will do, in about an hour." 

"An hour? Why an hour?" 

"Thats how long it takes to get there, silly." 

"Oh, right." I laughed.

"What are we doing here?" I gasped as we pulled up to my favourite expensive restaurant.

"We are dining here tonight," Jesse grinned. 

"We can't eat here..."

"Why not?" Jesse said looking sad.

"Because its so expensive."

"And?"

"I can't let you pay for both of us, I'll pay my half."

"No," Jesse said shaking his head, "you won't pay for anything tonight." 

"Jesse..."

"Nope, c'mon." Jesse said as he opened my door and locked the car, took my hand and walked to the restaurant. 

In the restaurant we sat at the back, my favourite place to sit as you could look out at the garden. 

"This is lovely Jesse, thank you." I said after the waiter put our food down and then left. 

"You're welcome, beautiful." 

I blushed, "this is to much."

"Its never enough for you, Ella. You are my world." 

After dinner we stayed and had a couple of drinks, Jesse looked nervous. 

"Whats wrong? Have you forgotten your wallet?"

"No, Its not that." Jesse laughed.

"What is it then?"

Jesse cleared his throat, "I er--"

"Your not going to ask me to marry are you?"

"No," Jesse laughed. 

"What is it then?" 

Jesse went in this pocket and pulled out two little velvet boxes, "Jesse? These look like ring boxes." 

Jesse laughed awkwardly as he opened the first one, it had a little ring with a small diamond in it. It was beautiful. I looked up at him, "you said?" 

"I'm not asking you to marry me, but its a promise ring that one day we will get married." 

"Jesse." I awed and blushed. 

"Do you like it?"

"I love it thank you." I said as he took it out of the box and slid it onto my ring finger. "Whats in the other box?" 

"Open it and found out." Jesse said as he handed it to me, I smiled as I took the box and opened it. 

A key.

It was a key, confused I looked up at Jesse and saw him smiling. 

"Ella Knight, will you move in with me?" 

"Of course, I'll move in with you!" I exclaimed standing up and kissing him. "Thank you, I love it Jesse."

"And I love you." 

"I love you too."

We walk into our very first home together, our hands linked. It was the first time I had seen the house and it was beautiful, all the furniture was already in place. 

"What do you think?" 

"I love it, who designed it?" 

"I did." I turned around and saw Mum standing there with a massive smile on her face. 

"Mum!" I shouted and ran and gave her a hug. "Its beautiful, thank you." I pulled away and ran back to Jesse and kissed his lips, "and thank you! I love it!" 

"Glad you like it," Jesse grinned. 

"I don't like it, I love it." I said as I kissed him again.

3 years later 

"And you may now kiss the bride," the priest said to Jesse, Jesse smiled at me before kissing me. 

"I love you." He whispered against my lips as we kissed. 

"I love you too." I said resting my forehead against his, I was his, and he was mine. 

We was now married and start our married lives together. 

And I love him more than I did the first time I said 'I love you' to him, everyday my love for him grew and grew. 

I didn't regret anything. 

We have each other, for the rest of our lives. 

And I couldn't be happier. 

"Forever and Always." Jesse smiled down at me. 

"Forever and Always."
