Chapter 6 - The Date
I ran down the stairs a couple of hours later to see Jesse, grinning at me looking very hot. His dimples which I never saw before stood out as he looked at me.
"Wow." Jesse breathed, still looking at me.
"Wow to you too." I blushed. Jesse was wearing black skinny jeans with a navy blue shirt, over the top he wore a black jacket. "How did you...?"
"Kate." Jesse grinned. "She called me and told me to wear a navy shirt." I laughed. "Should we go?" Jesse asked.
"Yeah. Bye!" I called through the house.
"Where are you going?" Simon asked walking towards us. "Don't you two look very--- matching."
Jesse laughed, "we're going out." I smiled.
"I can see that, you know your dad is going to go mental."
"I know, but it's totally worth it." I said smiling at Jesse.
"Go on then, have fun you two. Make sure you look after my step-granddaughter."
"I will do Simon." Jesse said before taking my hand and walking me to his 4X4.
"Where are we going?" I asked as Jesse opened my door, I got into his car before he closed my door and ran to his side.
"It's a surprise."
"I hate surprises." I mumbled.
"But you'll love this one." Jesse grinned.
"How do you know?"
"I asked your mum if you had ever been and she said no so I thought it would be a great date."
"Oh so this is a date?" I teased Jesse, he blushed a light shade of red.
"If that's what you want, then yes. This is a date."
"It is." I laughed lightly.
"Me too."

"We're going ice skating!" I exclaimed when we drove up to the massive inside ice rink.
"Do you like it?" Jesse laughed looking over at me. "I mean we can do something else."
"No, I love it. It's a great idea, I just-- I'm going to be really bad."
"It's okay, I won't let you fall."
"You promise?"
"Forever and always." Jesse smiled, but I stopped and looked at him. My smiled growing bigger. "What? Why are you looking like that?"
"Forever and always..." I blushed.
"What?" Jesse laughed.
"Nothing." I shook my head, "should we go?"
"Yep, stay here." Jesse quickly got out and ran to my side before opening the door.
"Thank you." I said as I got out of the car, Jesse took my hand and locked the car before leading me to the front door.
"You don't mind..." Jesse said looking down at our interlocked fingers.
"If I cared I wouldn't be holding your hand right now." I giggled, "but thank you for asking."
"It's okay." Jesse blushed, he opened the door and let me go in first. We walked up to the front counter.
"Two tickets to the ice rink please." Jesse said grabbing his wallet. I was about to pull my purse out of my bag when Jesse put his hand over mine. "I've got it." Jesse smiled as he handed the money over to the lady at the front desk.
