Chapter 19 - I'm More Than Ready

Today is the day Nan gets out of hospital, which means tomorrow my family are going home and I'm staying.

Just saying that makes me have butterflies, I don't know what the future holds for me. But as long as I'm with Jesse, its great. I'm ready, I finally feel like I have done the right thing for me.

"How are you feeling?" Jesse said, coming up behind me and kissing my shoulder.

"Excited, nervous, happy, scared--"

"You know you don't have to stay, I can move down--"

"Jesse, we've talked about this." I sighed, turning around to face him. "I want this, I want you. I want us."

"No matter where we are, you'll have me."

"You're not going to change my mind, Jesse."

"Worth a try," Jesse laughed. "I just don't want you regretting it."

"I won't." I said as I kissed him, Jesse walked us to my bed as he laid me down.

"Still got a few hours till we pick your nan up..." Jesse said kissing my neck, as I laughed.

"Are you ready to leave Mum?" Dad asked a few hours later in the hospital, we was nearly ready to leave the hospital. Nan was in a wheelchair, not that she wanted to be in one but the hospital said for her to leave she has to go in a wheelchair to the car.

"I've waited a few days to leave so I can get you out of my house," she laughed, "I'm more than ready." She teased.

"You missed us really Nan." Leo said rubbing her shoulder as we walked out of the hospital.

"I've missed you kids," she says as she holds my hand, I smile down at her and rub her hand with my thumb.

"We've missed you too." I brought her hand up to my lips and kissed it.

"Well I am a very missable person." She winked at me, I've missed her so much. I was so happy that I would be living with her and Simon.

Living out of the city has done me good, changed me for the better and I have to thank Jesse for that as well.

Jesse has changed me for the better and I couldn't imagine him not in my life anymore, he was part of my life and I hope we lasted.

It was just me and him now, and I'm ready.

Ready to see what life decides to throw at us.

I can do anything with him, he's my rock.

"Thinking about your Jesse?" Nan said, smiling up at me as we neared the exit of the hospital.

"Maybe..." I blushed.

"Well, you might wanna hide that love bite before your father sees it." Nan winked, my hand went straight to my neck. I blushed more as I covered it with my hair.

"You didn't see anything." I laughed.

"Didn't see what?" She asked, playing along.

"I can't remember."

"Nor can I." Nan smiled, "just so you know for the future, no more funny business in my house young lady."

"How--"

"I was young once too, Ella." She grinned.

"Ew. TMI, Nan." I cringed as she laughed.

"What are you two talking about?" Dad asked looking at the both of us with a confused look on his face.
