Chapter 16: Life Travels

The flight was not that bad, it was just a little bit uncomfortable knowing that Paix is just 2 seats

away from her. If Paix will be honest enough to admit it, he'll say that he feels excited to know CJ

again. He hopes that this chance with the Brett's won't be wasted. He sometimes glances in pretense

of looking at Tyler who was seated beside him. But the temptation not to glance at the window where

CJ seats is too tempting. Tyler caught him one time but he didn't say anything. CJ dozed off until she

felt his hand on her face.

"Wake up sleeping beauty."

She was startled and was surprised to see just him and Paix seated.

"Where are they?"

"Raffie took them to the pilot's cockpit. Your manager knows a lot of VIP in this flight. But don't worry,

they'll be back soon. We're just 15 minutes away from landing."

CJ became conscious of her face specially the thought that she has no shield since both seats are

empty. Paix understood her anxiety and said," Don't worry... you did not drool or anything when you

were sleeping!" She responded with an impish laugh. Their conversation was interrupted from the

excited voices of Maddie and Tyler. As they fastened their seatbelt, Tyler continued narrating what

he saw in the cockpit. In no time at all, the plane taxied in Basco Airport.

Basco is a busy hub that caters mostly to tourists and local natives who want to relax away from the

noise and stress of city life. Here, you can live the perfect life that one can only wished for: simple

but close to nature.

The trip to their hotel was breathtaking! The beach and the mountain did not escape the Brett

children. Tyler did not stop bugging CJ until she agreed that they will go swimming if her schedule

permits...of course with Paix. Wherever Paix goes these days, Tyler goes. They're sort of the Batman

and Robin now which Paix happily agrees.
